We have these fans in every bedroom and our living room, this is the third summer we've had them and they're still going strong. They've honestly changed our lives - even in the recent record breaking heatwave, we've been able to sleep comfortably every night. This item was recommended by my son. I bought 4 (1 for the lounge and 3 for the bedrooms). Very easy to install as he'd already done his ones so my 4 were no problem. (That's what you have children for). The fan and light are totally adjustable via the remote which is a great idea. I like the fact that you can have different degrees of lighting depending on your setting. Very, very pleased with the fan in this heatwave, having found setting 1 or 2 is ideal for the night time and is enough to move the air around in the bedroom. I would recommend this item to everyone
