THE NORTH FACE 10L Mini Borealis Laptop Backpack

I bought this because it is a MINI bag. So many reviews specifically complained that it’s too small for their need probably because they didn’t realize it’s a mini bag. But I can fit what I need plus a little more.The specifics that I like about it is it has a netted pocket that has a clip inside, I use it for my wallet with how constantly I misplace it. Keeps me from losing it/forgetting it. Along with my small items (a bunch of chapsticks)It also has a pouch in the back that fits my IPad 6 in a slim case, a small planner booklet.This leaves the main portion of my backpack which I can fit misc. items in like canned drinks and other random crap. The pocket in front is a decent size but still small so that’s more misc. items that I don’t use often but need easy access to like feminine products.All around it was a nice upgrade compared to my old backpack that was slightly smaller, but a normal mini backpack that you’d get in stores.There’s only one pocket on the bag that would seem useless to most but it’s great to keep a chapstick in the side for when I’m driving and can’t necessarily look to find it. There’s also reflector strips that I clip my keys to above the side pocket.Over all this bag is great, just what I needed, and in my price range!

I’ve never been able to carry a purse, but a backpack….that I can do!Instead of carrying around a big, bulky backpack, I love this mini! It can hold my iPad 11 inch with my selfie stick, sunglasses, Kleenex, snacks, Chapstick, hand sanitizer, and so much more. The elastic straps on the front allow me to roll up a lightweight sweater and synch it in place. When out on the town for the day, it is so comfortable to wear.One con: The side pockets are small. One holds my hand sanitizer, and the other will hold a small thin plastic water bottle but not my Hydroflask. I wish the side pocket was bigger to hold my Hydro flask, but that’s my only real complaint. I just put my Hydro flask on the inside or I clip it to one of the shoulder straps with my carabiner if my bag is full.This has gone on hikes, day trips, adventures to California, Alaska, Oregon, Denver, Arizona, and I can’t wait to take it to many more adventures. I pack this Mini in my one bag for travel, and use it when I get to my destination, it packs up nice and light. Easy to take with me on longer trips as a minimalist traveler. It is my daily carry, as well as my travel essential. 👍🏼👍🏼

I have the full size version of this backpack and like it a lot for school. I needed a small backpack for a day at an amusement park. Worked perfect! I was able to put a good sized metal water bottle, a sun shirt, sun screen, power bank, keys, cards, phone and some other small items in it. I was able to clip my case for my sunglasses to the outside and hook my hat to it. Going on rollercoasters I had to take my hat and shades off every time. Worked great and wasn’t too big to carry all day. I do wish it had the strap that hooks around the front to pull the arm straps together. After several hours the straps started rubbing on my armpits in an uncomfortable way. That would’ve been fine if I were wearing a t shirt, but irritating in a tank. My full size version has the connecting strap across the chest.

I take it with me to work and it's so easy to put over my shoulder and go. It holds my phone, wallet, a bottle of water, snacks, and has plenty of space for other stuff with the zipped pockets. I wouldn't say to overload it with heavy items because I do fear the bottom giving way if too much weight is on it, but it's been holding up nicely and am very pleased with it. I wear a lot of North Face but it's my first time having a bag from them.

I’m in love with this mini backpack, and I bring it everywhere I can. It won’t fit bigger items like a laptop or textbooks, but it’s perfect to carry some smaller items like a couple regular-sized books or some essentials that are typically kept in a purse. I bought the bigger version for school, but I bring this one around while running errands or going on a walk.
