Seal N Soft 2" Nylon Garage Door Rollers, 13 Ball Bearing Hinges 4" stem (10 Pack)

These arrived yesterday, they do include a cap for the exposed bearings. However the caps seem to pop right off with almost no effort, in fact most of them were lying loose in the box. I'm going to lube the bearings and then secure the caps with a little dab of RTV before I install these rollers.Garage door rollers are exposed to everything, water, salt, sand, dirt, detergents, you name it. The sealed bearings only make sense. Hopefully these will last a good long while. I'm also hopeful that they will be quiet compared to the old steel rollers. I'll update this review after installation if there is anything new to note.

These rollers made a significant difference in the noise from the door operating. It is very quiet now.My only complaint is that the dust caps on the “sealed bearings” popped off several rollers during installation. They are not secured very well.

The center dust caps do not stay in place on several of the rollers. So long term, who knows. I am guessing the bearings will become dirty on the ones without the dust caps and will need replaced at some point.

I purchased these expecting a bearing system was to be much more quiet that my existing nylon rollers... Funny thing is, they are so poorly manufactured that they are much more loud than my original non-bearing nylon rollers which my door came with. Awful, not recommended to purchase.

Replaced one side of garage door rollers.......they were metal....these nylon definitely dampened the noise of the door going up and down.... will order more for the other side soon.

overall these are good but for some odd reason 2 out of 5 squeaks and I have oiled them and now that I have installed them I don't want to send them back I also ordered another set and no squeaks at all.
