Love Beauty And Planet Volume & Bounty Dry Shampoo, Juicy Grapefruit, 8.6 Ounce

I'm not impressed with Love Beauty And Planet Volume & Bounty-Day 2 Dry shampoo. And I'm not happy with my purchase. As you can see I gave 1 out of 5 stars to this product. I gave one star because I thought it was a good value. I received two 4.3 oz spray cans for the price of one. As for the quality... it's not very good. I thought this dry shampoo would be a perfect option for me since I have thin, fine shoulder length hair that's on the dryer side. And this product claims to add volume body & bounty while adding strength to fine hair. First of all, the product was thick & clumpy. It left a noticable white cast on my hair, which was difficult to brush out. The scent is called Juicy Grapefruit. It didn't smell like Grapefruit to me. It smelt like vanilla. Kinda like a cheap Vanilla scented spray you buy at the Dollar Tree or 99¢ Store. To be honest, it smelt gross. The look & feel of my hair after use was also gross. My hair isn't naturally oily, it's dry so I only need a little bit of dry shampoo every 4 days or so. My hair became oily after applying this product. I didn't know it was possible for my hair to be oily & powdery at the same time. This product made it possible! My hair not only smelt bad but it had ca residue in it. I couldn't brush my hand through my hair without having to wash my hand afterward. I actually just now used the product. And I feel like I need to wash my hair. I mean, it's bad! And it really sucks to be me right now because I recently ran out of Shampoo & Conditioner. I ordered more online but it hasn't been delivered yet. It won't be delivered until Monday. Today is Thursday. So I have nothing to wash my hair with! I was planning on using this dry shampoo to hold me over until my haircare products arrive but this dry shampoo made my hair situation so much worse! Some products work well for some people & not well for others. I don't think this product will work well for anyone. It's just overall a bad product. What I thought was a good value may have actually turned out to be a rip off. Ask yourself before you purchase the product, Are you willing to take a risk on this dry shampoo & have it end up sucking for you too?

My mom is a hair dresses so I grew up trying all the different professional products. I told my mom I had been enjoying Love Beauty And Planted that products so for Christmas 2 years ago she got a set and it came with this dry shampoo. I was in love! It works so good, smells amazing, doesn't make your hair feel gummy or gross, absorbs the oils without leaving a white powdery residue and while being priced great and good for the environment and you. I had to search all over once my first one ran out to find it and now I order many at a time when I buy online from Amazon. Even gifted one to my best friend cause I love it so much lol

I was using an expensive $27 dry shampoo for years. I loved it but my wallet did not. I knew I had to find something else. I was skeptical but this works really well. It is SUPER affordable, doesn’t leave a lot of residue and is not sticky. It does however have a strong smell. You do have to rub it in very well.

You know all those product reviews you read about people saying it’s not the same product? And another one... I feel duped :( I had about 5 bottles of this product I purchased at Target. Which they no longer sell and given the pandemic thought Amazon could come through.For the record the original formula is THE BEST dry shampoo I have used and I have tried many formulas over the years, all price points. I would always get compliments on the volume of my hair after use. I could hold on to a hairstyle for days !This formula may perform similarly if not less but the smell is not it. When did “juicy grapefruit” smell like coconut? This is not it, and unfortunately not able to be returned. I am disappointed because the description does not explain this. I was expecting my good stuff and this is some other stuff.Though there are more important things in this world to lament ... thanks to being sheltered in place let’s just say I have some time.

I love all the good for the planet and good for me stuff, so I was really excited to get this. I used it the second it was delivered. I’m sadly disappointed. It’s grapefruit, but all I smell is vanilla. The smell is overwhelming and the whole bathroom still smells like vanilla after 15 minutes with the door open. They don’t offer returns, so I’ll be pitching these.

I loveeeeee this dry shampoo. No white powder and flakes coming out whenever I touch my hair, smells great, and gives my hair volume. It does thicken your hair and sets it a bit, but you can brush it out to minimize that.

I have really fine hair and I also have extensions, so dry shampoo is a very important (almost daily) product for me. This dry shampoo works the best for my hair type. By the 3rd day of not washing my hair, I put this in. Makes my hair look clean and voluminous. I was using Living Proof (my favorite) but it got really expensive, for how quickly I can go through a bottle of it.

I purchased this brand in a store and loved it, so when I saw the 2 pack deal here on Amazon I was thrilled. I was very disappointed to find that it is not the same product at all. This one smells horrible and it feels like sticky hairspray. I will be returning them and having my money refunded.
