English summary: Migrants are a target group of social work insofar as they are marginalized, disadvantaged and ostracized. On the on hand, social work takes place in particular social services, which responds to migrant-specific problems in a narrow sense. In various aspects of social work, on the other hand, immigrants are clients, among others things, and it bears discussion if this situation requires particular methodological and cultural-specific approaches. This book discusses these questions through the representation of individual migrant groups and the corresponding challenges to social work and elucidates the subsequent concepts and methods at work. Debates over integration, intercultural competence and related approaches are investigations for an actionable concept of social work. Other intersectional issues are also dealt within this book, such as cultural diversity in society, racism, discrimination, intercultural and antiracist educational activity and intercultural and interreligious dialogue. German description: Migranten sind Zielgruppe Sozialer Arbeit, sofern sie marginalisiert sind, benachteiligt und ausgegrenzt werden. Soziale Arbeit findet einerseits in besonderen Sozialen Diensten statt, die auf migrationsspezifische Probleme im engeren Sinne reagieren.
