As another reviewer said (why didn't I read the reviews first???) this is not an encasement, and is therefore not bed bug proof. It's just a waterproof cover - a useful thing to have, but not the product advertised in the title.

This is not an encasement at all as described in the title, just a waterproof fitted sheet.
