Working, no issues
Working well, battery lasts daysGives a much more consistent heart rate compared to wrist watchesPurchased to use in VR linked to hyperate/pulsoid apps

Works very well with my old Fenix 3 watch.
I bought this as a lower cost option to the proper Garmin HRM straps. I know these do other clever stuff but I never knew what to do with that information.Paired with the watch without drama and does a reliable job.Fits well.Easy to clean.Recharge is straight forward and lasts for weeks. This works better for me than the fiddley battery replacement on the Garmins. The app is directed at cycling but is good for direct monitoring when doing cross training or treadmill training. You can turn off the LED if you do not want everyone to know your heart rate (and this saves on the battery). My only slight concern is that the case is made of a hard plastic that might be brittle if dropped.

Disappointing
Have had this 6 months, after replacing a cheaper coospo that lasted 3 years, and it seemed perfect up until the last few weeks. It started to become temperamental and not always wake up when I put it on and now no longer comes on even when fully charged...maybe that's why it's 30% cheaper now then when I bought it. Wont buy this brand again

Rechargeable, a great upgrade.
Works very well. Just need to remember to moisten the contacts on the belt and detach the sensor after use. Recharges easily and this feature avoids the usual Achilles heel of HR monitors which is the battery door which can let moisture in and ruins the unit. A great upgrade.

Accurate and connects every time
Only had it a few days but so far it's been absolutely brilliant.Simple set up with a no frills app on Android. It beeps as soon as the device is connected to the strap and detects a signal, which easily done by wetting the strap lightly. It works. Every. Single. Time. No drop outs. Also connected straight away to a treadmill in parallel to the phone app.Faultless.I had a Polar H10 previously and both the app and the strap worked either intermittently or not at all.The coloured light on the device is of limited use; it indicates your heart rate zone, which you can set in the app. Unless you're one ponce about shirtless in front of a mirror whilst working out I doubt it will see much use. It might allow running without a receiving watch at push, with a thin shirt. So far the H9Z has lived up to the reviews and recommendations on line and for a fraction of the price of the H10.I couldn't recommend this enough.

Won't switch on after 1 week unused.
This device connected up in the first attempt but a week later it stopped working - would not turn on even though it seemed to charge fine, - this seems to be a common problem. It's unfortunate as the device offers what I need but just fails to switch on.Returned item via Amazon customer service.

Works well but reliability could be better
Worked well for almost 18 months and then started dropping out and will intermittantly stop working while in a peleton session or while running.

Great value HRM - much better than the entry level COOSPO HRM
Bought to replace a cheaper COOSPO HRM that didnt work correctly from its arrival. This HRM is a vast improvement. Well worth the additional cost - about a tenner.Firstly it has a rechargable battery (arrived 97% charged and ready to go).It connected instantly to the COOSPO app and flashes repeatedly so you know it is working.Tested on Zwift, again an instant connection, that was stable for over 2 hrs.
