Until the End of Time: A gay historical romance

Wow what can I say, this love story broke my heart and rebuilt it. I cried over a love lost and found and never ending. Nicky has taken you on a journey back through time and created a beautifully haunting historical love story. As the title suggests, this book will stay in your heart until the end of time.

What a beautiful story of a forbidden love for homosexuals in England in the 19th century. As we are used to with Nicky’s writing, the descriptions are second to none and we can picture the house, the clothing the views and how life was back in 1820’s. As always Nicky researched the typical English phrases, her descriptions make you feel,like you are there in the book.I like how she started off with a modern day couple and then went back into the past for this love story that stood the tests of time and finished off back in the present.James and Simon were incredible and their love for each other was so strong. The scenes between the two men were just perfect considering the timeline of the book and I feel they were tastefully done. It had all the feels laughter, a bit of angst and tears but it was so wonderfully told I just couldn’t put it down and had me up til 2 am on two nights running just to finish the book.I definitely recommend reading it if you at a fan of Nicky’s books and if you like historical romances.

In 1800's England being gay is illegal and punishment is a death sentence. James has been brought up in front of Simon the magistrate for sentencing but as soon as Simon sees James it is love at first sight and he devises a plan to help James escape his sentence and takes him to his house to keep him safe. This story follows James and Simon, their love story and their battle to stay together against all the odds. I loved this insight into a realistic portrayal of the injustice and hatred against gay people in the 1800's.

Until the end of time was such a amazingly beautiful storySimon and James stole my heart from the moment I started reading until the end of time I couldn't put the story downI cried well reading simon and james's story it broke my heart in some parts but also put it back togetherUntil the end of time gave me a educational insight of what is was like being gay in the 1800s it broke my heart but it also showed me that love is worth waiting for no matter how longSimon and James story was so beautifully writtenThank you Nicki James for this wonderful journeyUntil the end of time was my first historical romance and it wowed me from the moment I read the first page and all the way through the story I loved it

This book was something else. Completely fell in love with Simon and James and was literally on the edge of my seat willing them to get their happily ever after. The things they had to go through for love was extraordinary. This author really pulled you back in time, the language and descriptions used really helped immerse you in the 1800s. Really well written.

Nicky James has become one of my favourite authors in a short space of time, she knows how to break your heart and then put it right back together. This was a beautiful story set in a difficult time for two men to fall in love and the story was cruel and unforgiving at time. I was worried I wouldn't get the HEA I needed for these characters but I wasn't disappointed.

No matter how many times I read this book, which has been 4 times now, I cry for Simon & James, what they go through to be together hits you in the feels. This book is AMAZING, needs more than 5 stars, well done Nicky, you should be proud of yourself for this one ❤😘

This book just blew me away. I've not read many historical stories but was drawn in by the reviews. I couldn't put it down and brought tears to my eyes a few times. Just shows how powerful love can be.
