Description

Applications The anchor is made of carbon steel, and is galvanized. This anchor is designed for use in concrete, blocks, and Brick. Environment The anchor is designed for use in a dry environment. Type Head The anchor is a flat countersunk head and is designed to prevent the head from sticking out above the surface of the object to be connected. Hole Diameter / Bit Diameter The anchor requires a 3/8" hole to be drilled in the base material (concrete, blocks and bricks). The hole must be drilled with carbide bit drill which meets ANSI standards and used in a drill hammer. Anchor diameter the dowel diameter is 3/8". Anchor length Anchor length is 5" Minimum embedment The minimum anchor embedment in concrete is 1-1 / 4" . Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1-1/4" of the anchor is embedded in the concrete. Maximum Fixture Thickness The maximum thickness of accessories or the maximum thickness of the material be fixed for an anchor is 3-3/4" . This will cause the minimum rooting of 1-1/4" will be achieved. The hole in the device or material being fixed must be greater than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 3/8" anchor diameter requires hole in the device both 1/2" . Distance between anchors each anchor shall be spaced by a minimum distance of 3-3/4" between them when measured from center to center. Edge Distance It is very important not to install the even closer than 1-7/8" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.
