Ordered 30th November, delivered next day, installed day after that - after a couple of days realised that there was no "memory effect" ie whatever sequence of twinkling flashing etc that I set it to it reverted to the wild disco effect after being turned off and on again (by my timer). Contacted seller who replied within a few hours and said they would sent me a replacement transformer/controller. Which arrived today (11/12/18). And hooray, it does have a memory. The lights are good, the lead is long. I would say the service was excellent. And thank you to LightsGo.

The only reason i'm keeping these is i know they're good lights and work well outdoors having bought exactly the same make and model 2 years ago. However, my original lights had a plug that pointed upwards and easily fitted inside a outside waterproof mains box and these newer lights have a plug that sticks out (see photo) and theres no way it would fit inside the same box. Pretty dumb changing the design, even if you used them indoors who wants a plug sticking out of the wall like that?!!? Fortunately i had a different set of lights that failed and he had the same energy rating and output so i was able to use that, otherwise i'd have sent them straight back! Hope this helps others before they purchase and note to the supplier - change the mains plug back to one that points upwards and ditch the sticky out version!!!

Annoyingly they don't remember the last mode they were on, meaning if you wanted them to be static (all on, no flashing or blinking) you have to press the button seven times. But when you turn them off and then turn them back on again, they start on combo mode which is winking, flashing, chasing like some kind of disco. Never before have I had any fairy lights ever that forgot the mode they were on between sessions. I reached out to the LightsGo brand via email earlier today to see if they had a solution but I just noticed that the last 1.5 metres of lights do not function so I'll be returning these as faulty. They were bright and colourful, however, and if I didn't mind them forgetting the mode they were set on they would be acceptable.

I bought the for my significant other half for the Christmas period as she wanted lights for two fir trees we have in tubs in the garden, (even though I am the one that pays the electric bill - Scrooge-style moan over).The lights are very bright and look good. The yellow edges more to the orange-side but this seems to be more of a function of the led nature. Plenty of lights and spaced neither too tightly or too far apart. Overall the effect is very pleasing.As the lights are only rated as IP44, we ensured that we had it plugged indoors, but the good thing with this cable is that there is an 8m length to the first light.No complaints and compliments from the neighbours.Recommended.

Took me over an hour trying to put up a 50metre long string of lights. Every second i turned and twisted it round the garden fence i prayed it would still work when i finally got around to finishing it, considering how thin the strings are and the risk that it might break. I held my breadth. Plugged it into the socket, came on a flash and blacked out. And that was it. £22 gone just like that.Better luck with yours.3 stars because i plugged it when they arrived and they worked, and lights looked beautiful.

Bought these for outside Xmas lights, put them up already, and switched on just to check they work. all working fine.only thing I didn't like was that in the photo of the kit i bought, the plug was like a normal plug, and would of been able to plug into my outside sockets. Upon opening the box, i soon realised that it was a different type plug. luckily the wire un-screws from the plug allowing for wire to be pushed through small holes. Also on the different plug it has the button for changing the light settings.Overall great product.

Ideal for what I want, colours are nice and bright and clear.Purchased the 200led 20mtr light set and happy with it.The mains plug, 3pin UK, is also the control unit for the lights.Switch / button on top. 8 settings. Recommended product.

Love the many modes that the light Go can provide. It had some very fast running lights, gradual changing of LED brightness and even a stationary mode. For the price and considering it can be used either outdoors or indoors, it is a fantastic purchase when compared to other more expensive products on offer.
