They DO NOT work on asphalt shingles.
The sites description :Hang both LED and incandescent C7 & C9 light bulbs. My C-9 bulbs did NOT fit.Easy installation under roof shingles and clay tiles or use with a parapet clip on flat surfaces. These may work on wooden wood tiles or clay tiles but they don't work on asphalt (these shingle edges melt together in the hot California sun which does NOT allow for these clips to be used. This was a waste of my money & even though they approved my return the shipping costs nearly as much as the cost of the clips!

Avoid at all cost
Low quality even for junk. Broke several while attempting to use.
