Solid build quality. Used only a couple times. Happy with the purchase.

I was a little skeptical that these would work I had a 13/16" lug nut that corroded to the stud and was so rounded off that a 3/4" extractor socket would not work. none of the popular auto parts carried a 11/16 or 17mm extractor. I could get one from Home Depot but it would it would have been a few days. So I saw this kit with next day shipping at amazon and bought it. And it got the job done without damaging the tool. These sockets have a hex head that accepted a 1x1/16 socket ( knew that the 3/8 drive would break if i tried to use it). The only thing I had at the time was a snap-on 1/2 torque wrench but when it reached over 200 ft. lbs. with out budging it, I went to the Harbor Freight HERCULES 20V, 1/2 in. Ultra Torque Impact Wrench. I rattled for a while but the nut finally came off. No damage to the tool.

Have used them to remove rounded and rusted nuts, bolts, and old pipe hex fittings. Worked like a charm everytime

While the extractors are weak and broke off inside of drilled out bolts right away with minimal pressure, the company was great and stood behind their product and made it right! Great company to work with!

Had a seized 17mm oil drain bolt on my car that my former mechanic way overtightened and stripped the head as well. See photos, this set worked exactly as advertised. The sharp flutes gripped the ruined bolt head, and easily unscrewed it perfectly without messing up the pan's threads, so I could drain the oil and replace the bolt and washer. Highly recommended purchase, great strength, nice storage case with good labeling, and the 1/4" adapter included, all at an excellent price. Once I got the ruined bolt removed, I even used the included adapter in reverse through the extractor to tap gently with a hammer, to separate it from the extracted bolt. I'd happily give this set 10 stars if I could.

It performed better than expected. Allowing me to finish a job I was stuck with

I attempted to extract a screw that had sheared off and upon immediate use, a drill bit and extraction bit both broke within seconds of turning on the drill. I followed the instructions for both using a cordless variable speed Dewalt drill (on speed 1 of 3) and these broke inside the screw, making things worse. I tried another drill bit and it couldn't even actually pierce the screw material.I ultimately got the bolt out by using a higher quality normal drill bit that was slightly smaller than the screen and just drilling it to pieces. I do NOT recommend this set.

Works when I need em in a pinch

I don't normally leave 5 star reviews, but this definitely saved my day! I was trying to remove the VTEC solenoid on my Honda and one of the bolts were stripped, with very tight access I fought it for hours, desperate to try something before taking it to the shop I ordered this kit and arrived next day, within a couple seconds in first try I managed to break the 10mm bolt loose! This kit already paid for itself!

Ordered this to extract a manifold bolt that had sheared. Was originally advised to use a screw extractor kit (i.e. drill the bolt, use extractor to unwind the screw), however, the screw extractor broke with the torque. This was easy to use and extracted the bolt within a minute. Have only needed it the once so far, but have confidence in it should I ever need it again!

For the advertised price, this set of stripped bolt extractors is highly recommended. Works as intended and appears to be high quality.

Saved me 3 times already during my rebuild, i dont really care about the long term durability as long as it completes its task, the kit can be disposable for that price as long as the bolt comes off and id be willing it pay it.
