Renogy solar panels are great but their controllers are crap. Don't waste your money. Comparing the Aims controller to a Renogy controller is like comparing a Mercedes Benz to a Ford Fiesta. The difference in quality and ease of use is that dramatic. I was so impressed with the Aims controller that I replaced a Xantrex 2000w converter with an Aims 4000w converter. The Xantrex would not power my 15,000 btu air conditioner. It would just shut down. The Aims powers my AC, my microwave and TV all at the same time with no problem. The units have only been in use for a few months so we will see about their durability but these are impressive units so far. Review: Works great. Will accept 4ga cable as well! - The product manufacturer needs to add a description of the lcd screens display.
