Had an amazing experience with it, The anti stick drift technology, makes you relieved when putting pressure on the sticks. it has a great configuration app and also works right away with most modern and even decade old games without any setup. The only cons are that it is a little light quality in its build. After a while you can hear the body squeeking when you grip it very hard, anyhow that is very negligible. Also the white color tends to get dirty easily, Gamesir should introduce other colors also.

Ho acquistato il GameSir G7 SE ormai da un anno e, dopo centinaia di ore su FPS competitivi e giochi d'azione sia su PC che su Xbox, posso fare un bilancio definitivo sulla sua affidabilità nel tempo. (Non ho caricato foto semplicemente perché dopo 12 mesi di utilizzo quotidiano l'estetica non è più in condizioni impeccabili, tra normali segni d'usura ed estetici, ma ci tenevo a recensirlo perché a livello funzionale fa ancora egregiamente il suo lavoro). I punti di forza dopo un anno: Sensori ad effetto Hall perfetti: La vera svolta di questo pad. Gli stick analogici e i grilletti usano i magneti anziché i classici potenziometri: dopo un anno la risposta è precisa al millimetro e il fenomeno del drift non esiste. Software GameSir Nexus fantastico: L'applicazione dedicata è fatta benissimo e permette di personalizzare tutto con estrema facilità. Si possono regolare le zone morte degli stick, calibrare i grilletti, rimappare i tasti e creare profili dedicati in pochissimi clic. Tasti posteriori con blocco fisico: I due pulsanti sul retro sono comodissimi e hanno uno switch meccanico per bloccarli ed evitare pressioni accidentali. Cavo e connettività: Il cavo USB-C in dotazione è robusto e non ha mai dato problemi di falso contatto o disconnessione. Conclusione: Esteticamente mostra i segni di un anno di uso intenso, ma a livello di prestazioni, reattività dei tasti e precisione degli analogici non ha perso un colpo. Se cercate un controller cablato con licenza ufficiale Xbox, anti-drift e con un software davvero completo, a questo prezzo è una garanzia assoluta!

Update (8th March 2025): Now it’s almost gonna be an year since I’ve been using this controller, and it still feels brand new.. Zero regrets!! The LB RB bumpers are still very responsive, and there’s zero stick drift as expected from the Hall effect module. Every other button is working like a charm. The braided USB C cable that came with the controller is still fine. No wear and tear at the corners or anywhere. It’s the best controller I’ve used till date, and no other controller comes close at this price range or even at a slightly higher price tag. Blindly go for this one if you’re looking to buy an Xbox controller. Original Review: I’ve always used Xbox original controllers, and never really bothered using any other controller. I’ve used the regular ones, special editions, and even the elite series controllers. They always had 2 major issues for me. The LB and RB bumpers being almost useless after a couple of months, and of course the stick drift. So I thought I’ll give this controller a shot as it’s only 300-400 /- more than an Xbox controller. I’ve been using this controller for the past 3 days, and I used it to play some FPS, and 3rd person shooters on my Xbox Series X. Coming to the pros: 1. Controller feels light but, it is built very well. There are absolutely so squeaks or cracks. 2. All the buttons feel tactile, and ABXY buttons have the right amount of travel to them, and are very similar to Xbox original controller. The other buttons like the Xbox menu, pause, back, share, mode, and the microphone mute switch (which should be there in every Xbox controller imo) are clicky rather than having the membrane feel to them. I got used to it in an hour of usage. 3. The length of the USB C cable that is provided is good. It’s around 10 feet, and I can comfortably use it from my couch. 4. Now coming to the Hall effect sticks, and triggers themselves (No more stick drift!!! At least for a very long time), they are excellent. I downloaded the GameSir’s nexus app, and calibrated the sticks after updating the controller’s firmware. They are extremely responsive. The triggers travel is very good and smooth. Extremely happy with this. 5. The LB and RB buttons feel amazing too. They definitely look like they’ll last longer than Xbox original controllers, and the D pad is good as well. There’s nothing really bad about this one, and if I have to really nitpick then I guess the USB C end of the cable that goes into the controller is weirdly thin, and this makes finding a replacement cable a bit annoying but, the cable is a braided one so I don’t think it should have any issues. Give this one a chance instead if you’re gonna buy an Xbox controller.
