Aerosol Paint Primer... NOT a toy!
Hey! It's Armory primer! Couldn't pass this up when I was looking for a grey base for miniatures. Gives excellent mid-range primer coverage for metal gaming and other miniatures that are intended to be hand painted or airbrushed.Sometimes I use automotive primer for this purpose. While a can of Krylon can certainly work, there are two things that make it inferior to Armory: Armory seems to throw a finer mist, and makes for far faster and easier coverage of a piece, and I've had a hard time finding Krylon in grey. The Armory primer works for me, and the cans last a LONG time.Grey is an excellent middle of the road background when the extremes of white/black primer just are too far outside your planned color palette. The only con however is that the shade of grey is of a value not too far removed from un-primed white metal. As a result, after the primer dries, visually inspect the piece to make sure you don't have spots that, due to the angle you sprayed at, are still bare metal. It's easier to see this difference when it's dry. This is in the toy category, but sometimes things get categorized on Amazon by way of Bizarro Land. This is a can of aerosol primer paint. Grey. Not a toy. Not to be used by children without the supervision of an adult. It does have a cartoon on the label. In it's defense, the image is the work of a popular game artist. But unless you plan on the kiddos learning how to prime and paint metal and plastic models and miniatures, it's not for children.

Great for Certain applications
Depending on the project, this primer is perfect. I would NOT personally use it on miniatures or objects as my first choice, where you are going to have fine details, because as others have said, it does leave a bit of a grainy surface. I have discovered that depending on what the object you are priming, different primers give different results. Case in point. I normally use Rust-oleum flat primers for almost everything I paint and have been extremely happy with it. That said, whatever material that reaper mini's use is NOT compatible with it. It basically never drys and leaves the mini's tacky to the touch forever (as do quite a few other off the shelf primers). This primer worked great. I also use this primer for terrain pieces (think Dwarven Forge types of terrain), and it works awesome for that.

Great purchase
This primer was really awesome, worked great. Make sure to test the primer first so you don't get clamping like in other reviews.

My Favorite primer
This primer goes on the smoothest of any I've used. I've never had trouble with paint sticking to this primer either, as I have with other brands.

Fast shipping Great stuff
Ordered this last week on either Thursday or Friday and was amazed that it got here today on Monday. I swear by this brand of Primer and was really happy with the deal I got. Should have bought more I guess, but again for the amount you can prime with one can this will last me for a bit and again shipping was fast! Would recommend.

Meh....
May have just been me not using it correctly, but this stuff was awful for me. It left everything grainy and looking awful. I ended up having to soak it in thinner for a few days and scrubbing it all off. I've since switched to brush-on primer.

Don’t Buy!
This stuff is absolutely garbage. Would recommend going to Walmart to find a spray that’s consistent and not as sensitive to humidity as this piece of junk.
