These are heavy-duty split rings that are good for jerk bait replacements.Please, use a pair of split ring pliers when replacing split rings.

These truly are Heavy Duty ... Wire diameter is pretty thick . Ends are flat cut and not tapered leaving an edge that is a bit sharp . Took some effort to open them up enough to attach larger swivels and this lead to the rings deforming and leaving a space between the overlapped wire enough that 20-25 pound mono tied to them could wedge between the overlapped wire . Shouldn't be a problem with heavier line or using them to attach lures in place of clips . Just be careful not to spread them too far apart...obviously, I guess . Shipping was fast, packaging was well protected .

Depending on size you'll wish you had snap ring pliers. Look good and strong, didn't have pliers and made my tough hands sore. I will buy more when I need, shipping wasn't bad but who's in a hurry for more of these?
