Excellent stuff!
It's a great produst but unlike the description it comes without any instructions so I had to google how to best to use it after I had used it because it's not obviously how best to apply it.

will not stop a small water leak
I wrapped this tape as per instructions round a mildly leaking joint in a copper cold water pipe. I turned the water off, dried the area and applied the tape. When I turned the water on again it had just moved the leak to the end of the tape. A complete waste of money.

I even left it for half an hour before turning the stopvalve on to see if it fused better with time
It's reasonable but not at the current price of £12, as it will not stick to nylon or plastic pipes, it relies entirely on gripping very tightly on itself causing it to fuse into itself, in that respect it seems to work very well indeed. Where it falls down is on pressurised pipes ie:- anything being fed by the rising main which supplies my garden hose, I gave up after the 9th attempt and resorted to Ptfe tape. I even left it for half an hour before turning the stopvalve on to see if it fused better with time.

Rescued Me...
Time & again. I have them in all available colors so it's practically invisible for whatever I apply it to. Does almost all the things electrical and duct tape do without sticky residue. Is even reusable in the proper circumstances. AND WATERPROOF! I've even used it as a bumper around my cell phone to keep the case from cracking. From the second I found Rescue Tape, it became a miracle repair staple in my toolbox!

Fixed cracks in portable compressor hose - held up to at least 75 psi with no issues
This stuff is awesome! I had a cracked hose on my portable air compressor that I use for inflating tires, would have cost me $25 to replace the hose w/ factory parts. I fixed the cracks with less than half a role and probably used more of the tape than I needed. So I used some more to add a grip to the handle on an old wood-handled hatchet (which is great now).I hit 75 psi in a pressure test to see how it would hold up; no leaks, didn't want to go higher with this compressor.Attached picture isn't the clearest, but shows the hose wrapped in the rescue tape.

Does What It Claims
Fixed a split plastic connector on shower head that previous owner had tightened too much on installation. Saved me a few bucks since only alternative would have been to replace the head. This stuff really does what they claim it can do. Worth every penny.

Works
Had a leaking p trap which could not be replaced because the plumber cross threaded one of the couplings. Didn't have a lot of pipe length as recommended, but after a day it completely fused and the leak is at least temporarily resolved.

Perfect for my needs
I bought this to repair the vinyl sheath on a cable on my weight machine. I had used electrical tape previously to cover where the sheath have worn off but it kept coming off or tearing. Wrapped the cable with this per the instructions and it is working perfect. No wear and not coming loose. Cheap repair for a $100 cable.

Used this tape before
I like that this tape stretches as you wrap it. I have used it before. I call it "marine tape" because it is very resistant to water and I need to use it on an outdoor electric cord.
