I've been working outdoors in this heat. It is not an air conditioner, but it does help. As long as you have realistic expectations for what a fan can do- this is helpful.It works best once indoors to help expedite your cooling down process. It is heavy, but it works so... there is a tradeoff.

Got as a gift. Read online it needs updated, yet no clear way to do so, and item not even listed on their website. Will likely be returning it this weekend if I cant get it working.

The fan was way too thick, even at its lowest setting was sometimes too high and overall too bulky

The media could not be loaded. I have the Pro1 and this Pro3 fan. I got both because they're great for different environments. This Pro3 has 3 fans and expells air not only from the back but from the sides so your face also gets air. It can handle a higher volume of air due to having 3 fans in 3 different sections.The only trade off for this level of performance is the additional noise, weight, and size. It's Very thick and will feel bulky. I only use it for outside work where it's very hot and I use the smaller one for casual days out.I find due to these factors the comfort is lacking and it tends to slide off and back more than the smaller Pro1.I don't fine the air cleaner function to add any value. There's no noticeable difference in the air quality and the air is traveling so fast it's no where near enough time to actually clean or sanitize itI recommend this for those with longer necks or need the maximum performance and control of the 100 level settings.

Okay my wife gets extremely hot and she wears a neck fan quite a bit whether it be at home or even at work. With that being said, she has narrowed it down to two that she loves. One that has a thermal plate on the back of the neck which is nice but it's only 3 speeds and a bit bulky.The other one is this one. She loves that it has a variable speed unlike other's that have 3 or 5 speeds. She can dial this fan at the exact fan speed to adjust the breeze and the amount of noise it makes. This one is built really nice, super comfortable with a nice piece on the back of the neck that holds the entire device from wrapping around your neck. It also can be pivoted in or out on the sides for different sized necks as well. Also like the feature where it has a digital display to see exactly where you are on the charge percentage as well as the display to tell you where you are from 1-100 in speed. It also has a negative ion switch which I'm not sure exactly what it does but it reminds me of the Ionic Breeze fan I had that cleaned the air.The only thing that makes this not a full 5 stars is that, not sure if it's just my unit but if you scroll through the speeds too quickly sometimes it'll jump 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 45, 46, and skip numbers or sometimes go backwards in the speed level My guess is that it's a electronic dial and going too fast makes it skip and/or jump. But if you do it at a normal pace it works fine. The other thing is that it can be a little high pitch and buzzy. Nothing major, just noticeable.However the pro's outweigh any cons of this device and it's a solid piece of hardware.

Only used this fan a few times and didn't think it had the same air flow as less.expensibe version. Turns out the fan on one side is not turning on, so air is only coming out of money side and the back. Unfortunately we missed out return window.

I bought this neck fan but returned because of two issues. Sometimes it's too cold on even the lowest setting. And you can't use the ionizer without the fan turned on. So if you are not in a warm environment the ionizer will do you no good since you can't use it unless you want to be cold. If they made an adjustment where you could use the ionizer without the neck fan I'd consider repurchasing. Also adding more details on how the ionizer works would be helpful. The air purifier aspect (one of the only neck fans that offers it) is the main reason I purchased this neck fan.
