When left idle, even in full daylight, the calculator shuts down, despite being solar powered and with a backup battery. Infuriating when being used with intervals between calculations. Otherwise a good device !

I ordered this particular model as it is one I have used for many years, originally purchased in France. However, I lost the original and was really pleased to see the exact one still for sale.However, when it arrived it is not as the picture, and is a new model, which I dont like. The keys are no longer as responsive.

I bought this calculator, since it is specifically referred to by William A. Rini in his book: Mathematics of the Securities Industry. It provides all the necessary functions, and although it is really a desk calculator, is not too large to be held in one's hand. Made easier due to the shaped relief on the sides. The only significant/really annoying feature/flaw in the otherwise pleasing design, is the use of pale grey buttons, with white legends, for the + - * / and CE/C keys. This--and no disrespect to the visually impaired--makes about as much sense as having buttons with Braille dots.

I bougt this to replace my texas calculator that I,'d had for 33 years. I never put batteries in during all that time and it worked to the end. That is ehy I've gone for another Texas.

Je suis comptable. Ma vieille texas instrument de 2002 ayant rendu l'âme, je me suis tourné vers celle ci. Et je ne suis vraiment pas déçu, bien au contraire car elle répond largement à mes attentes. MAIS oubliez les millions avec décimales à 2 chiffres, en effet on peut marquer que 8 caractères, vraiment dommage sinon elle serait parfaite car simple d'utilisation sans trop de touches, juste les essentielles, un beau format avec de grandes touches souples dans le sens où ça permet de taper très rapidement toutes une série de nombres pour une opération. Bref, elle réunit absolument tout ce que je voulais pour mon travail : simple, ergonomique, efficace. Juste cette histoire de manque de capacité lorsqu'on a des millions avec décimales, vraiment vraiment dommage ça.

I was a bit reclutant to buy it because I didn't want to spend that kind of money in a simple calculator but I'm glad I did it. Best quality ever. I think I'm in love with it ;P

Confermo la mancanza del tasto "ce" che invece risulta accorpato con "c", come da precedente recensione. Prodotto comunque più che soddisfacente.
