Onaroo Danny the Penguin Portable Night Light

Cute, friendly night light which my small grandchildren adore. Changes colour and has a timer function. Easy for small children to hold and switch on and off.

I bought this for my 9 month old, and then realised that it was recommended for children 3 years +. However, it seems perfectly safe, and he can operate the light himself. I tend to be with him when we use it as it's part of our bedtime routine, and also very useful to see on one of his many nighttime wake-ups.

Bought this for my 3 month old as wanted a nightlight small enough to take abroad.My little boy loves Danny and he is a very important part of his night time routine.the colours keep him entertained long enough to get him ready for bed.highly recommend him!!!!

My son absolutely loves this night light and as it has no leads i dont have to worry about leaving it low down by his bed so he can turn it on if he wakes in the night. Stands up very well to rough play as well!

Fantastic purchase, I bought this for my partner (I know) for his birthday as he loves penguins, it has a lovely subtle light which has 5 colour settings, we are expecting in January though so it will be passed down to baby! :-)

Quite small and looks a bit cheap (bought as a present, but think could have found a better looking night lamp in this price range)

I bought this for my son who likes having a light to go to sleep. He just Loved it. So did I. We liked the shape, funliness, the various colours and modes... Until 2 months later, when after changing the batteries, my son complained he coudn't change the mode nor the colour, and even worse turn it off completely. We changed the batteries, we opened the thing up to see if it was a connective problem with the on/off control, nothing. Now it either stays red all the time or stays red all the time.For the price paid and the brand, I expected a better quality. I'm looking for new options to replace it for my son, but I know he's really disappointed (as I am) as he really loved it in the first place and would have used it for a long time if it didn't let us down.

I would turn this light on when I was breastfeeding my son at night. He is 2 and loves playing with it still. It turns different colours.
