Vinyl LP pressing. 2012 debut from female fronted Greek Punk trio Barb Wire Dolls. Recorded in Chicago at Electrical Audio by Steve Albini, Slit is a stripped down and liberating listen. Barb Wire Dolls combine first wave punk and grunge rock in a politically charged, hook-filled, three power chord punch. They are described by Guitar World magazine as "a true-to-the-genre punk band". Fronted by the fiery and outspoken femme-fatale singer Isis Queen along with guitarist Pyn Doll and drummer Krash Doll, the band came together while living in an artist commune on the island of Crete. The songwriting on Slit is an examination of societal absurdities, a special interest and religious conspiracy to obscure truth and the urgency to wake-up and confront it before it's too late.

Check out this Hot New Punker/Metal Band!!! Fantastic Debut Album
After seeing The Barb Wire Dolls open for Dead Men Walking @ The Troubador, Loved their Punker/Metal stage presence. Songs were well written, and wonderfully performed. Missed out buying the Vinyl at the gig, as I was upstairs with Dead Men Walking, Pyn Doll gave me a CDR of this album, which was highly appreciated. Everyone should check this band out live, and pick up this debut album. You can see them all summer long at The Whiskey A Go Go in LA every Monday night during the summer!!!! Cheers you lot!!! If you like old school punk
After seeing this band , the Barbwire Dolls at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles they captured my eye with the front girl singer and her vocals and antics, if you like old school punk, rock such as the Sex Pistols and the legendary band Blondie, you can't go wrong with this band and album. I hope they release another on CD because all these songs rock

One of the most complete and greatest bands on planet earth at this very important moment in earth history. This band is flawless in every way. Pure muuusicial joy and release. I would, I would pay a thousand dollars too see just one of their perfect concerts.

Delightful mixed punk album
The Barb Wire Dolls album Slit is a pleasure. The structure of their songs is more complex than most punk and there is more variety between them. They are a wonderful band in concert.

Punk liveth
This is one of my most played albums at the moment - great to drive to!!! The spirit of 77. Really well produced too. Think "Anarchy in the UK" and that gives you the kind of vibe you are in for. Lively and loud. There are absolutely no "fillers" on this album. If you like punk you'll love this.

Real Punk is back.
This band has brought back the real meaning of punk, to make people stand up and do something about the problems we face in society, listen to REVOLUTION, the lyrics are simple and effective, as are all the songs on this brilliant LP, I do wish it was out on vinyl as I hate CD, a digital recording in my opinion takes the soul out of the sound, But never the less a big thankyou toISIS,PIN and CRASH.
