I've now pushed the cable in but instructions say there is a red charing light and I can't see one - do you think it is faulty?

There is a very slight red charging light, but ours doesn't always show red, but it does charge. I would say that even if you don't see the red light, but it charges you're all good.

I received this lamp as a gift, I am charging it more than 2 hours now, still red light and nothing happen when I touch it .Is it faulty?

Is the red light full or still a short bit. If it’s the full moon and you touch it with no light probably faulty. If it’s a short red light after 2 hours it is faulty
