It really works
I've had other adaptors fail me. This one seems to work consistently. Make sure you really jam it in the MBP to make sure you have a good connection. Then, you're set. The dark color matches the dark gray of the MBP as well.

Great Product!
Solidly built usb hub. The connection is good and the data transfer is fast. You can only use one sd card slot at a time which is weird but not a deal breaker. I've used it to connect to a projector at work and the video resolution is good. Good all around solution

Terrible quality
I bought this last summer and less than a year later it no longer works. My computer won’t charge unless I unplug it. Disappointed with the quality and longevity. Would not buy again.

You need this if you own a new MacBook
I purchased this hub along with the other smaller usb hub. This hub has all the ports you will ever need to be able to connect different devices to your Macbook. I purchased this one specifically to use at home and be able to connect to my desktop monitor. I use the smaller hub for when I'm on the go and I just need to either connect to my portable hard drive or sd card. The other hub is smaller and more convenient to take with me on the go. I would definitely recommend this hub if you have purchased a new MacBook.

Great docking connector, is all you'd ever need
Great addition to your new MBP. Has all the connectors you'd never need. Small. Plug-and-play.If anything, I'd like them to drop the price a bit, but you definitely get a good and very useful product

This USB adapter has all the connections I need and then some.
I thought having to use a usb adapter with my macbook would be an inconvenience but its not at all. The way it connects to the macbook is seamless and it makes it seem like its apart of the macbook. It has every connection port I need on it and even the ones I don't use as much. If anything, this adapter is more of a convenience that I thought it would be. I'm happy with my purchase.
