The media could not be loaded.  This works like a charm! I have a ‘23 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and it works in my car. The first time I tried it, it did not work. I followed the instructions and only ever got a gray screen. So if you have bought this and are having trouble, don’t worry! They actually upgraded their software and the old software doesn’t work in some cars, especially if you have a newer car like mine.I emailed the company and someone walked me through upgrading the software, all i had to do was download the file onto a flash drive and connect it to the box which was connected to my car. My car did all the work and it finally worked perfect!I love the video feature and i mainly wanted it for youtube, but netflix is cool too! I don’t regret it and get so much interest from my family. i’m the only one with video on screen in her car! this was worth it to me and I got what i wanted out of it. this is NOT a paid review btw! just a happy customer :)

I really wanted to like this device, but after using it for a few months, I had to disconnect it and give up on it. The biggest issue is how SLOW it is, the hardware is way too underpowered for the software, so everything takes forever, you'll click a button to load YouTube, and it will take 30-60 seconds to load, then you click a video and it takes another 60 seconds to load (if it ever does). That brings me to the next issue, most of the time it just doesn't work. YouTube videos may load eventually, but a few days later none will load and it will just keep spinning, and the only way to fix it is to do a complete factory reset on the unit. I got sick of having to do that every few days. And other features like Android casting don't work, you get an error saying it's an "Untrusted device" and couldn't be verified, so you can't cast to it. So definitely save your money, I may try another brand to see if they have more powerful hardware that can keep up, but this one is definitely not worth the money.

This box functions great as an adapter for Android Auto, but is not capable of doing everything else I wanted it for, so I had to return it. Notably, It has a ROM that is incompatible with Google Play Services, which means you cannot use Google Play to download new apps for it. Some apps can be side-loaded by downloading the APK onto a USB stick and installing from there, but many apps also require Google authentication to work. Additionally, some require location services, which seem to not work on this box either. If you are fine with using the streaming apps it comes with and don't need to install much more, it may work for you. I must say that their customer support was very responsive to my inquiries.

Everything works great except playing movies on thumb drive. Was wondering what kind of video files work with this on thumb drive, mp4? AVI? Mov.? Otherwise everything starts up on it's own pretty well. Have to go on phone to initialize personal hotspot on iPhone and turn on wifi on the device, but that's no big deal. Really nice to have alternative music etc. while driving.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s a perfect wireless adapter for streaming video services and make a different dimension to car monitor! Screen mirroring or casting is not tested but will review this and update the review later. II consider streaming video feature along with CarPlay is more helpful especially if you are on a long trip with family or in a situation of waiting inside the car for someone. I’m pretty impressed with this very small device’s performance in terms of its fast responsiveness with YouTube, Netflix and YouTube music as shown in the video. This product has a very friendly menu which helps to navigate the streaming apps and most importantly the updates to the devices from manufacturer is online with a single click and can see in the screen menu itself. I noticed connection lost once in a while but unplug and pug the device back it detects easily and then it resumes the CarPlay quickly and it’s perfectly manageable. It is more stable in terms of maintain the connection, streaming, response etc. it’s a must own device and really great for the price.- Connection options with mini USB-C & USB-A and provided cables- Instructions are easy and straight forward to setup the device quickly- Video streaming is seamless and stable as long as you have good internet connection in your phone- 20-25 seconds for initial detection once car started, every time it detects your phone automatically

The media could not be loaded.  Very easy interface to use. It all comes in very neat packaging. It’s fast and simple to use. You just plug it in wait for the boot screen to load and then connect your phone. When you get in your car it automatically connects and will bring you to the first android page. If you don’t select anything on that page it automatically brings you to car play which I love Watching Netflix is so easy and great quality. Fast loading and no issues with it. I really recommend getting this product if you want wireless CarPlay and Netflix as well as YouTube. This has quickly became my favorite addition to my car and it’s so much cheaper than the magic box which is over double the price.I will be posting more videos later of the Netflix and YouTube working

It installed pretty easily, but after about 5 days or working, I couldn't get it to connect to my truck or my phone. I tried everything even factory resetting and reinstalling updates, but still couldn't connect to it. I paid $99 over some other brands, thinking you get what you pay for, but nope. It stopped working and was returned.
