KHALZ Premium Full Mesh Back & Extra Wide Seat, High Back Ergonomic Executive Managers Chair with Headrest & Adjustable Armrests (Black)

I bought this chair to replace a $100 chair that I bought a few years ago off of which the pleather was starting wear and make a mess. I knew I wanted a mesh chair to avoid the mess in the future. Very happy with this purchase. I work for a large, global corporation that has these types of mesh chairs; they are probably in the $500-750 range. While the quality of those chairs is marginally better, I find this chair to be of comparably good quality at a significantly better price - it's a good value.Assembly instructions are minimal, but there just aren't that many parts. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the manufacturer included extra washers and screws and that the screws had threadlocker on them. Assembly took about 40 minutes, and the only reason it took that long was because I fully installed one of the arms on the wrong side before I realized it. All the assembly screws are hex head cap screws, and a tool is provided to tighten them (more on this in a minute). I don't like things coming loose, so I did put some extra threadlocker on the screws; so, if you're hard on your furniture like I am, it might be worth investing in a small tube of Loctite prior to assembly.At 6' 200#, this chair is comfortable for me. The controls and hydraulics work well, and it seems well designed. Though it's not on the extreme end of solid in terms of assembly tolerance, fit, and finish, it's more than acceptable for home office use and not sloppily flimsy. I read one review about the head rest being too short. I'm not finding that to be the case, though I do have it adjusted all the way up. So far, very happy with it. I may update my review later if the chair wears poorly.I do have a couple of minor complaints, so minor that it wasn't even worth docking a star for them since they just weren't that impactful. First, the shipping packaging is not very stout. There were a few holes in my package when it arrived and, seeing how the screws and washers are free-floating in the package, I could see how this could potentially be delivered to a customer without hardware or otherwise be damaged. Again, this didn't impact me, but I could see where it might if you have heavy-handed delivery persons. Second, while the addition of a hex tool was nice, it's difficult to use it to tighten the screws of the right arm of the chair, because the handle for the up-down hydraulics is in the way. I could see where a customer might unintentionally crossthread at least one of these screws by using the tool to drive the screw at an angle - I had to use a right angle hex key to tighten one screw. I also used my own hex key on all the screws since it gave more leverage to tighten them (again, I like things to be very tight when I assemble them). These are my only complaints, and as they are more observations than things that negatively impacted me, I didn't see a need to dock the product - I am usually suspicious of reviews that don't include any criticism, though.TL;DR - Solid enough, comfortable, good quality chair at reasonable price. Happy with the purchase so far!***Update 10/01/2020***Chair back lever broke. Looks like a stress/fatigue break on the metal frame that holds the lever in place. So, chair back no longer can be fixed in place. Removing one star for a lack of long term durability; however, this has been a decent chair for the last nearly 3 years. Will probably not buy another, will probably buy a $750-$1000 chair comparable to what I use in the office.

Reported issue to vendor no response. Chair arrives in 6 pieces, with additional casters for assembly. Instruction sheet very limited and could offer better diagrams for the placement of screws and bolts. Had issue with right armrest and sent email to vendor and received no resply. No 800 number provided. That being said, the chair itself is comfortable and appears sturdy and looks great. The most of the chrome seems to be plastic, only time will tell. Was able to correct armrest issue with a simple fix, recommended by a 3rd party. It was connected/partially assembled incorrectly by manufacturer, this chair has variable adjustment levers for chair and headrest height and back position. Other than zero customer support, happy with purchase and cost.

I do like the high quality of the materials used for the base. However the issue with this chair is the back sways side to side. If you get up the wrong way the back adjustment just goes all the way down and you have to reset it. Instructions were not very clear and concise.

The chair is otherwise comfy, though it sits a bit too low for my 6'1" frame. I have emailed the company 4 times on their website trying to get someone to help me figure out how to replace the "gas lift" piece that pneumatically adjusts the height of the chair with a taller gas lift. I would even pay for the part, and fix it myself, if someone would just help me. I have gotten ZERO responses from them.

My work-from-home husband and I are very HAPPY with these chairs—we purchased two of them! Our chairs were shipped safely (the boxes were still fully intact; all of the parts were in perfect condition) and were easy to put together. These chairs are sturdy, comfortable, and effective! Thanks to my ergonomic chair, I don't mind being on the computer for hours at a time anymore. I highly recommend these chairs! :)

I have had this chair for almost 4 months, and I'll be honest it really was not worth the money. Its very loud squeaks constantly, the back flops all over the place because it does not mount very well and after a few months the mesh feels very stiff. I find my self compensating with a pillow to just get by. If I could I return it I defiantly would.

Chair is great at first. after a couple months the integrity of the chair fails. I have had this chair less than one year and the seat completely broke

I love this chair, very comfortable, I love the mesh seat keeps your bottom very cool when sitting for long periods of time. Seems to be very sturdy had no issues putting it together had it for 4 months now just as good as the day I put it together.
