This is a REALLY long lead. We have Siberian Huskies which while fine with other dogs tend to run off and explore. It's a tendency the breed have and so its best not to let them off.It takes a while to get used to a lead of this length. I've found the easiest way to manage it is to loop it in and out over the palm of one hand rather simply dropping the lot. It stops them wrapping it round trees benches etc and you stay in control if you need to bring your dog back quick.Downsides: takes a while to master and keep tangle free.You need waterproof trousers when it's wet or dewyCan burn fingers if you let it slide through your hand,especially when wet.PRO'S: Your dog gets to RUN, you can throw a ball,they can play with other dogs properlyCompared to an extending lead I reckon they get three times the exercise.Our Huskies weigh around 25kg and are strong. The lead and clip are strong and after three weeks use I can see no sign of wear. Highly recommend this product but takes time to get used too. But your dog will thank you!

I bought this lead for a recently acquired 2 yr old greyhound, which wants to run after squirrels in the forest. I daren't let her off lead yet, so I thought this lead would be a great compromise. BE WARNED! On our first walk, the lead was almost impossible to hold, looped down, wrapped itself around my right ankle as the dog took off after a squirrel and yanked it tightly and I was dragged forward, but by Divine luck, the dog stopped suddenly and I was able to free my leg quickly before my ankle was broken. Later on, when she took off again, the lead whizzed through my left hand taking several layers of skin off my 3rd finger. FINALLY, the dog herself, got caught up in it as she backed up on herself and got it tangled around her legs. I rushed over to free her, but before I could reach her, she had casually CHEWED THROUGH IT!! ALL IN ALL, A VERY DANGEROUS LEAD AND MOST UNFIT FOR PURPOSE. HOWEVER, THE SELLER HAS REFUSED TO REFUND ME BECAUSE - AND I QUOTE - I "FAILED TO TAKE ALL REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS"!!!

I am so pleased with this lead. It arrived promptly and although I know its 30M, it feels longer than you'd imagine.The clips are good quality and there's a D-ring on the handle, which can be handy.It's a nice quality lead and thick enough, so quite comfortable to hold.The dog loves it because he has freedom to explore and I feel better as he's still tethered if I need to encourage his return/recall.I've tied several handles along the lead and it's still a great length.I'd highly recommend and would purchase again if necessary.

Nothing negative to say about this product, it is as described, it does as it should, delivery time was good, quality of stiching and clasp seems good. My only gripe was (and it’s not a reflection on the item) I’d ordered a green one previously and wanted another the same but different colour so we could see them when the two dogs got a bit tangled, I ordered this not realising I’d selected a longer one, so one of the mutts gets jealous when the other can get further away 😂

We have a rescue dog who's recall still needs some work so this lead gives him the scope to roam at a further distance but not wonder off completely. It's great for open spaces such as the beach, fields, dunes etc

One of the best items I have bought for my pup gives her a massive run while training her very strong so I know I can rely on it if she sees a rabbit the only down side to it is rolling it back up when getting home .

I bought this product in May 2017 for a GSD that I needed to keep under control when out walking.This is one of three leads I use not all on any one day.Today without warning the lead broke about 2ft from the collar leaving the dog loose.I hate to think what could have happened had we been near the roadside.I contacted the seller regarding replacement but of course were not interested.I would have been happy to return to them to find out why it failed so sudden just in case it had a fault.For me a product like this should last for years.The lead showed no sign of any damage/cuts nothing.When wet it was always dried in the house before being put back in the car.I am so glad my dog is safe after this event had it happened near a road I may not have her. now.

This is great for my pet Husky. as I can not let her of a lead in open spaces it means she can wander around without getting away from me. though it does tangle easy but that's just the nature of the beast.
