Lint Magnet
These pants look, feel, and fit fine. However, when you wash and dry them, they basically attract every piece of lint and fiber that should be going to the dryer trap. I've used liquid fabric softener and multiple dryer sheets, but they do not help. I even tried putting them in the dryer by themselves for 45 minutes with multiple dryer sheets, and that still did not work. I pulled them out, and they are covered in fibers and lint. You shouldn't have to spend 5 minutes lint rolling these every time you want to wear them. For this reason alone, I will probably never wear them. Aint nobody got time for that!

the pants seem like they are decent quality
The pants seem like they are decent quality. I found the fit in the waist to be slightly smaller than J Crew and Banana Republic. I originally ordered a 33x32 (which is the size I wear in both JC and BR), but they were snug so I sized up to a 34x32.The pants aren't super skinny (like the 484s or Fulton fit) but they are still slim and good for a business casual environment. The pockets flare out just a little. Overall, for $30 they aren't bad. I still prefer the BR and JC pants, but these are a good alternative and a lot less expensive when compared to full price BR and JC.

OK Pants for $30
I pretty much stick with Banana Republic, but was looking for an alternative. I bought my size (34 x 32 Slim) and immediately washed and machine-dried them as soon as they got here. They fit fine, much like the BR Aiden Slim Fit. Just realize they are definitely bargain pants. The first thing I noticed is the top button: It's just a sewn-on button. The Banana chinos have a metal hook PLUS an inner flap button closure. I don't think I've ever owned a pair of pants with just a sewn-on exposed single-button closure. Not confidence-inspiring.They have a crease, which runs all the way up to the waist. I thought that might help make them seem a bit dressier, but when you put them on you'll realize that none of your other chinos have a crease. That's because they probably shouldn't.The material is softer but much thinner than the BR chinos. They just don't seem like they are made to hold up; I could be wrong, only time will tell. Amazon says they want to compete with BR, but really these compare better with Old Navy. I found the same with the Amazon shirt that I bought. To make a long story short, they will do the job for a while, but don't expect too much for $30.

A Bit of a Dissappointment
In currently own four pairs of these specific Goodthreads pants in three colors that I have been rotating through each week for work for between 2-4 months. I regularly buy a weeks worth of pants for work, and look to replace them yearly, so I’ve tried pants from a number of different companies and brands. The first thing I noticed when I received these particular pants was the variation in sizes between the different pairs. One pair fit almost perfectly, two pairs were a little more snug, and one pair was almost too tight to work, all ordered and labeled in the same size. The second thing I noticed was the material of the pants. Tagged as made of 98% cotton and 2% spandex, they were a little on the lighter weight and thin side, but were fairly comfortable in the heat and humidity of summer in Florida. This is no mean feat when the heat index is regularly in the 100s and you’re broiling in your own juices shortly after stepping outside, so I too easily overlooked the thinness of the material. This came back to haunt me yesterday where I somehow managed to rip the material of the pants along the rear left pocket in the middle of my work day and right before a meeting I couldn’t get out of.If you squat, plan on using the pockets on your pants, or aren’t prepared to send back pants that don’t fit quite correctly, I would not buy these pants.

FIT COMPARISON WITH EXPRESS SLIM-FIT CHINOS
I don't write many reviews but I appreciate when people leave good reviews for the fit of clothes.I am comparing these the Express Slim Fit Chinos. I wear a 32x32 in that brand and style and they fit perfect.I purchased the 32x32 Slim Fit by Goodthreads and the waist was too tight. I re-ordered just because I really liked the fabric and the price. 34x32 fit very very nicely. I may go one inch shorter in the length but I will determine this after a wash and dry. And this is a great price. I think I will spend a good chunk of change on my next purchase from them.Edit 01 - After a wash and run through the dryer I am going to go with an inch shorter in the length. As they are now they are well over a full break at the end. I don't care enough to fix them but I will go shorter next time so I am closer to a half or quarter break.Edit 02 - After wearing these twice already I think my next purchase will actually be a 33x31. The waist is not exactly where I like it to be. I do not want my belt doing the work of holding my pants up, I would just rather have a pair that fits. I also just purchased the Goodthreads Slim-Fit Washed Chinos and they do not have a crease down the leg and I actually like the casual look better. I will buy the same size in both styles to give a much better comparison of the two.

Hard to find sizes, great price
Do you know how hard it is to find a 29/34? My 18 year old is all legs from the armpit down and it’s incredibly hard to find dress pants in particular. They seems very well made, they fit wonderfully, and are a great price. VERY PLEASED!

Equal to Dockers and Bonobos
These pants are legit. I usually wear Dockers, D2 fit, which is the straight fit but these days even for fat dudes like me, the slim cut is coming into fashion. I thought of going Dockers, D1 fit or the slim taper but thought I would give these are try.The slim fit is is a tad tight around the tights and shin if you compare it against the straight fit but that's what you are going for. Slim fit makes fat dudes look thinner but it's just not as comfortable cause you feel the tightness, it's very slight and I guess the price for hiding my fat body and much easier than losing weight.I would say the quality in material is at least equal to Dockers. Bonobos has those extra touches such as the inside pattern but for 3-4 times the price, I would get these over Bonobos. For my fat butt, these fit better than Bonobos.

Worthwhile purchase
I struggle to get chino-type trousers that fit length-wise (35 inch inside leg) and normally purchase from M&S. Being out of stock at M&S, I started looking at alternatives and with some trepidation (Trousers from Amazon - really?) I ordered these. The fit is very comfortable - especially for long-term sitting in a work-from-home scenario. I don't have huge calves but find some chinos are a bit tight in that area causing a tightness at the knees. The material is as described - (almost) crease free. Whereas other chinos need ironing after washing you can get away without ironing these. I have since bought them again and am very pleased.A word of note: The navy is darker than appears in the photo.Recommended.
