Is it durable? Will the lightning stop working in a rather short period?

Normally, the lightning will not stop working.
If this situation occurs, it may be caused by improper operation, please check the following four aspects.

1. Check if the mirror is opened in the correct way.
① Put 4pcs AA batteries or connect the USB to power on.
② Turn on the switch button on the back of the mirror.
③ Quickly touch the rounded sensor switch on the front of the mirror, then the light will be on.
④ Press long to dim and brighten the lights.

2. This is a non-rechargeable mirror. It is AC-powered and battery-powered. Need to plug in the USB cable all the time or insert the batteries to work. (Don't use both way together)

3. Please make sure the power cord and the wall dock/charger are working properly. Check if the switch button on the back of the mirror has been turned on. (The circular pattern means off)

4. Long time use without properly cooling down, the mirror will be overheated and prone to malfunction.

Do the lights bright enough for makeup? 0r need addition lighting? I bought another type similar to this and I cannot even tell the lights

Our lighted makeup mirror is built with 16 highly bright LED lights, and the brightness can be adjusted by touch screen. Bright enough to meet different makeup occasions, avoiding the inconvenience caused by the dark light. 
Please note that:
The brightness will slowly diminish as the battery weaken.

Will this go through the mail pretty well without breaking?

Our makeup mirrors are packaged in a box with bubble out bag inside for extra padding to protect the mirror well from damage.
Each mirror undergoes strict quality control and is sorted and dispatched from an Amazon warehouse.
Generally, mirrors can be delivered intact. Unless the mirror is crushed by a heavy object in transit or thrown from a height.

Many customers reported that cleaning cloths were not helpful. So we considered the customers' suggestions and discussed with the technical department, and decided not to equip the cleaning cloth, but will replace it with other aspects of the mirror with the same value of features.
