Cheaper paints have more junk in it like sandy particles that will clog you sprayer and ware your tips fast, so use 5 or 1-gallon nylon mesh paint strainer bags before you start painting. I always strain my paint in a 5-gallon bucket first even with high quality paints. **Q: Will this work with the Control Pro 150?** A: This tip will not work with the ControlPro HEA sprayers. Will the 515 work better?** A: The 515 is a .015 opening compared to the 413 with a .013 size opening. Since the opening is bigger it is less likely to clog. It will still depend on the material though. Some paints require a larger tip than the .015. Check with the paint manufacturer, probably right on the can, for a recommended tip size.
