This grinder is garbage. It lasted a month before it was totally unusable. Within two weeks whatever glue they were using to hold what should have been a left-handed screw on the crank handle gave out, and the action of turning the thing would continuously screw off the handle. I'm stubborn though, and turned the handle upside down, after determining that rescrewing the handle every five seconds on what is already, by nature, a time consuming process was unsustainable. Cool. Uncomfortable, but functional. Never mind that the grind selector won't stay in place and has to be re-tightened about three times a (small!) batch. I can still make it work! Then the entire grinding mechanism came unglued, unglued!!! from the outer shell and now spins uselessly when I try to crank the beans through. I'll grant you, I like a Turkish light roast, but still, I'm not an especially strong gal, and a bean of any hardness isn't really all that hard, is it? Not for a month's total lifetime use. The very tiniest amount of design thought could have prevented these fatal flaws. Unacceptable.

At $13, I suppose I can't expect too much, but I was still disappointed with the quality of construction. On the plus side, it's compact, lightweight, and cheap. But the walls are very thin, and the design is rather sloppy. As others have mentioned, the screw on the handle is threaded the wrong way and has a tendency to fall out. The brush handle is also too fat to easily clean the grinder. Overall, I have been happier with a slightly heavier-duty hand grinder I got from KONA.

The coffee grinder is absolutely perfect. Its compact enough to go in my backpack, but big enough to fill my 8 cup campfire coffee pot. In fact, I also ordered one for my hiking buddy and one for my favorite neighbor as well.They all arrived so fast I couldn't believe it.I will definitely buy from you folks again.It was a real pleasure doing business with you.Thanks so much!

My husband loved this grinder for 11 months, then the interior bushing broke into pieces. Now the cone bounces around during the grinding process and results in grounds that are huge or very small. Useless really now. Tried to find Koefe company on the web, apparently there isn't such a company now, if there ever was. On my order I can't find anywhere to contact the seller either. I also notice that this item is no longer available and they aren't sure it ever will be again. That's a good thing because it is junk!

The stainless is nice, grinding takes practice. The knob goes round and round and comes off tried super glue, is glued to the handle but the knob still comes off. Takes long time to mill a lot of beans. Like the look. Is almost to thin to get a good grip to grind. I bought in case the power goes out and it will work for that job. Would send it back but I killed the box.

The first time i used it the little slot on the rubber band to hold the crank ripped and the first time i went to grind my coffee the knob on the crank broke off so this is now officially a paper weight. Save your money.

Love this little thing. It's sturdy, lightweight, It doesn't heat the beans, and the grinding of the beans themselves is effortless. Love the addition of the brush, and the measuring scoop which you CAN'T get with other manual grinders at a higher price point. I'd highly suggest it. :)

Have not used it as yet but was disappointed with plastic components in the grinders. The handle does actually attach to the body of the grinder. Am not sure that the handle will not detach and be mislaid. Or there was a part for attaching the handle not included in the box.
