The one with grid lines is the alpha numeric marking paper **Q: Why is the shipping so expensive? It is a total turn off.** A: Shipping can never be “free”! “Free shipping” is paid by the vendor. The paper is thick and untransperant and keeps rolling which makes the whole process more difficult .I find it difficult to work with for my patterns since i got to transfer darts or notches onto materials. I honestly went to home depot and got some painting paper(it is brown and is used to cover your floor when paiting)and I'm using that instead. Its thinner and more malleable.
