Given that you have a well installed mains infrastructure it gives good performance in my experience. **Q: my pc needs to be connected to the router via ethernet.trying to get a wired connection in another room will it be safe to use this as in no hacking** A: I’m no expert but I have been pleased with the ease Tp link to set up and how it generally works. I have 3 in operation as my building foot print is large as it’s a bungalow. **Q: My garage is on a different circuit to the house but goes through the fuse box. Will it connect the two?** A: Same for me but I found it was a little better than before but not really acceptable. Reason being I was using to link to provide a reliable feed. I didn’t think it did so I spoke to to link in reading Berkshire and they advised their mesh system Deco M5. Yep that works a treat I have a base unit and two slaves each end of the bungalow. The new ones went in without issue. But the connection drops every day or so. I can reconnect by pressing the button on the adapter but this is a pain and requires me to be at home. Instructions are useless.
