It’s been over quite consistently 80’s-90’s here with a few days over 100. I’ve kept their kit in a shaded closet with a box fan outside to circulate air and a 30 hour humidifier I got for $20 on Amazon. I had beautiful fruiting lions mane ready for harvest within two weeks on cutting the slits in the bag. I sprayed water regularly when I could. But at times I could only use the humidifier as I work 24-48 hour shifts. The closet I have is in my bathroom where it gets nice and humid every time I shower. **Q: How many does it produce** A: As many as the number of slots you cut in the plastic around log. More cuts equal smaller mushrooms. Less cuts equals less but larger mushrooms. I cut three slits on one side and one bigger slit on the other. I do believe the instructions said to only cut one slit. Mine produced well, but I am having trouble with second flush. **Q: How often do you water it?** A: With the humidity tent, usually twice a day is fine. but if your temperature is high(>72 degree), then you may spray more. **Q: Is there an easy way to automate watering? Say, if I place the log in a plastic box and put there a bowl with water?** A: I tried to spray regularly but I have a 30 hour humidifier running when I’m away for 24 hours at a time.
