I had used another company for my skins for the past several computers but this time didn't want to wait for a custom skin so I figured I would give TortugaArmor a shot as they had good ratings. And the price was VERY reasonable, especially for a top and bottom skin! It arrived on schedule and in just a few minutes I had the skin on, wrinkle free. This skin actually went on easier than the others I have used. It is sticky enough to hold it where it is needed, but not so sticky that if you need to reposition the start, that it deforms as you try to get it to release. I used the Apple cut-out top skin and my alignment was perfect. Overall fit is spot on.My order included top and bottom skin, plus an extra top skin (one with and one without the Apple logo cutout). Also included were the palm rest area decals. I never use those but a quick check showed me that they were, as the rest of the decals, a perfect fit. Plus, they threw in a couple of those keyboard protectors. I'll give them a try but I never seem to keep them on for long, just not my thing.I really like the look and I don't see any reason why this wouldn't perform as well as skins costing twice as much. Plus, since the price is so reasonable, if I want to change it out it's not so much of a hit. Long term, we will see how it does. The corners of most of my other skins would tend to start to peel here and there so I will look for that on this skin as well. And if it does, I'll put on a new one and still be ahead cost-wise.Disclosure - They do offer a bonus skin if you do a review but even without the bonus this would still be a 5-star item in my book.

Compared to other skins this is pretty good! I've had 3 or 4 skins for things like PS4 pro, my old macbook, and my surface book about 2 years ago and phones. This skin is really great for much less of a price than the others! Very happy with my purchase, but the leather texture is less of a leather texture and more of just a look. It is quite glossy, where the last leather skin I had for my surface book was matte and had a good texture. For $16 it is really hard to complain, my macbook will be scratch free now and still slim like it was designed to be! (dont need a thick case, just a solid skin like this)

Update: I bought another unit again, but for the 13 inch model. When putting on the item onto the MacBook, the Holes for the Apple logo wasn’t fully cut and it ripped as I was putting on the cover.The 15inch went on flawless; however, the 13” tore. So I’m giving it he 15 inch a five star while the 13 inch gets one star. Thus, averaging only a three star.I’ll update again if the unit is replaced.Surprisingly well. A little hard to get it on right but I’m always short of patience anyway. But it looks amazing. Very professional and looks like real leather.

This is a good product with the exception of a few issues the first being that they are cut wrong so they don’t fit the way they were designed to the bottom part covers the feet on some of the pads the part above the Touchbar is curling not sure if that’s do to heat from the vents or opening and closing the screen the same is happening to the edge of the touchpad I do love feel of it it it’s smooth and sleek and will certainly protect against scratches if you can deal with the misalignment and slight curling on the edges then it’s a good product if you have ocd I would recommend another product

I used to always look to dBrand or SlickWraps to purchase my Macbook Pro skins. Every few months, I tend to change skins to get a different look but was getting quite pricey. I went ahead and took a chance try another company and purchased the Black Leather Textured Skin from Sojitek for 1/2 the price I usually pay! All I can say is Wow! perfect fit, and was absolutely surprised that it actually fit better than the dBrand or Slickwraps skins. I will definitely buy again! Excellent product! A+

Looks good (texture-wise) but it's super thin, barely protects from anything, very hard to put on, lots of bubbles, took me 30 minutes of struggle and that's the best I could do (and I've done these kind of things before, if it would have been thicker it would be a lot easier). As you can see from the pics, I started with the top-right hole, and once I fit that one perfectly, none of the other holes fit. Plus it's so thin, won't protect from anything really.

Top fit well. Bottom was off a millimeter or two around rubber feet. Gives a little extra grip. Would buy again. I started in center then used narrow box, part of packaging, to work each side to the ends to get out any air. On the bottom lined up feet on one end then used edge of box to work toward opposite end. Took some time to get things to line up around trackpad.

Looks great goes on easily. If you have never applied one of these checkout videos on YouTube, it's not that hard if you take your time and you can easily avoid air bubbles. Also, it does leave about a 1/8 inch margin around the edge...believe me this is much better than it hanging over and getting roughed up edges.
