There is nothing I dislike about this coffee maker. The size threw me off check the pics but it's perfect for a tall mug of coffee. And you can make as much as you can boil. I used some cheap off brand decaf and it taste amazing. And the filter leaves zero residue on the cup you really don't need a filter. And notice how I didn't even use a fancy tea pot!This just came to night and after drinking a mug,I threw away my expensive coffee maker.I live in an apartment and the previous tenants were dirty so there was a roach problem but after constant spraying they are finally all gone. But during that time they would be all inside my coffee maker.I was done.But this one you can see everything.And the coffee taste amazing.Thank you for this.It will sit on the counter for everyone to see.

This has been a game changer for me. No more yucky, slimy coffee makers. This is super quick to clean. Like under 60 seconds quick. If you rinse and dry right away you don't need any detergent either. The only issue is the black rubber sleeve in the filter. It falls off and collects condensation in that area which h will cause rust. So either throw it away or dry thouroughly ever time. I love it over all and was an excellent purchase. Just the right size for 3-4 cups of coffee or a single cup anytime. I wrap the ceafte in a whitle linen kitchen towel to keep the coffee warm and use an electric stainless steel kettle.

First one I purchased had problem with very slow water drain thru coffee. Second one works perfect.;$

This broke within a week. I didn’t even take the time to return.

Much smaller than anticipated

I'm used to using the chemex but after it broke after a year of use I didn't want to spend $40 on another one. I bought this thinking I could use the chemex filters... This pour over seems about half the size of the chemex, but since I mainly use it for bring one cup anyway, I decided to keep it as it is handy having a smaller one. The metal filter is great, and if you want to save money on filters it's a quality filter. However I did like with the paper chemex filters is that there is absolutely no coffee grind residue on your coffee, but the argument for using metal fillers is that the oils of the coffee won't get stuck in the paper filter. So you gotta figure out your preference :) I think I can use both with this pour over, even if the chemex filters are too big :)

My husband has a 6C Chemex, but finds it is just too big for his morning coffee needs. I didn't want to pay the almost $40 for the 3C Chemex if I didn't have to. I found this as an economical equivalent, particularly because the spout has a ridge that goes all the way down to the narrow part of the container. This means that when you put a paper filter in, it prevents it from sealing to the sides, which makes the liquid go threw excessively slowly (for example, the Bodum equivalent lacks this ridge). My husband hasn't used it with the paper filters yet, but it should work fine with the 6C Chemex ones - the shape for the 3C model are shaped for a less flared container. Anyway, he is pleased, and I am pleased it went over well!

I do like this small coffer maker, but the glass is a little thin and fragile like, but just be careful with it and it wont break.One thing with this kind of coffee maker, you do need to stand there and gradually pour the water over the grounds, whereas other coffee makers you just push a button, walk away for a couple minutes or so, come back and coffee's made. But I was specifically looking for something that makes a good flavorable cup of coffee, and this one does as long as you get the right grinde with the beans, if you are using fresh beans.
