HOKA ONE ONE Kaha GTX Mens Shoes

Bought these at a regular retail store. Great shoes like all Hoka's, but if you're buying these for winter conditions be warned that they are extremely slippery on ice. Other than that, great for hiking, wet conditions, feet stay dry.

I assigned one star to this review just to call attention to an issue. The Hoka One One hiking boots I paid more than $200 four or five months ago are great. The boots attached to this review are NOT the ones I purchased. Based on a fairly extensive search, I have to conclude that Hoka no longer offers the boots I own. Mine feature two rows of hard orange plastic hooks through which the laces are routed before tieing. I would guess that these rather sharp hooks stress the laces, because, lo and behold, one of my laces broke. And a A++ Hoka Customer Service person (seriously— very good) told me that Hoka does not replace shoelaces, even after less than six months. Seems a bit ridiculous for very high-end shoes. So now you know.
