I've played with about 15 different paddles and this has been my favorite by far
This is my 2nd Ianoni paddle. I've played with about 15 different paddles and this has been my favorite by far. I play with 3.5 and 4.0 players who comment on the sound, control, and spin it produces. One competitor with a $150 paddle instantly said he loved it for the power and spin. A woman I play with also liked the feel - and the color! Everyone comments that it is on the heavy side, but it feels just fine for me. Bear in mind that top tennis players put lead tape on their rackets and play with heavy rackets, as I did too as a tennis player. I found 7.8 and 8.0 oz. paddles too light - this one is finely maneuverable at it's 8.4 oz. weight and, with that weight, has some pop. This paddle produces a true pickle-jar-opening sound that no other paddle does. People on the sidelines will comment, and they say it's even a bit quieter. A very important note here - the orange one here is the model PR-530, while the first one I got in light blue is the PR-550. I asked on another page if these Ianoni paddles were identical from page to page, the answer being yes, but they are in fact not. The orange PR-530 here has a shorter handle - see pictures. I'm not sure which colors come in which models PR-550 or PR-530, but make sure to check. I prefer the PR-550 with the longer handle. Many people comment on the design as well, which I truly like. The grip was sticky for a while but eventually wore in. I don't think they are the best grips, but I like it with the seams and the stitching. One woman told me it was a smaller grip size than her paddle, and she was right! You may need an overgrip. I tried one, but as it turns out, the original size grip is the one I play best with. All in all, this paddle is awesome.

Great Control paddle for Beginners and Intermediate players....
I really like this paddle. I play pickle ball 4 x a week and I have used a few different paddles. This is comparable to my Champion that I am currently using. It has a nice sweet spot in the middle and I love the length of the handle. It is great for those hard to reach spots. I like the colors and that it looks trendy instead of plain. It is very sturdy and light to middle weight. I am able to slam hard on this paddle and get great plays but also control my drinks. I would for sure recommend this paddle to you. It can be used for beginning and intermediate for sure! I just won Silver in my most recent tournament so it is a nice added addition to my paddles.

Company replaced paddle after Picts were sent in, great work
Looked good on arrival but edges chipped away before used 3 times. I kept this as a backup paddle and then 6 months later pulled it out for use and it chipped around the upper head of the paddle. Many chips with no use. I noted another buyer experienced the same problem.Update....company contacted me and replaced the paddle after I sent Picts of the chips. Very honest

Hubs is a better player with this paddle!!
Love this paddle! My husband and I started playing pickleball about a year and a half ago, but we have super cheap old wooden paddles. They work, but every chance we get my husband tries to borrow a better one from someone. Not anymore! I surprised him with this and he was super excited. Maybe it’s just placebo effect talking, but he swears it feels better and he can hit better than our old ones. He also said he likes how it comes with a cover, and it’s pretty stylish, he likes the design. I’d say what I think of it but he won’t give me a turn to try it out :) At least in his eyes it’s good!

Mutiple reviews
I purchased one a month ago and all is going well. Purchased another one last week for my wife and today the surface has chipped away in the corner on one side. A small chip that may not effect play however, the chip surface may continue to grow.

Finally a good grip size
Much of this game is in the finesse, and so it is important to have a good light weight paddle. The one I was using before this one was terrible, it was really heavy and totally a beginner paddle. This is definitely a step up from that - not like top of the line, but just good enough to improve my game a little bit. The biggest thing I excited for is the grip, my smaller hands can grip this much better than the other one I had. Very happy with the purchase!

Well made and Perfect for the Short Game
This is my second paddle in this sport. Definitely better made and designed to take abuse then other paddles I've tried. The grip is very comfortable for small hands like mine. Graphite surface gives you better control but not as much speed as composite surface. If you want to have a complete game and have a non tennis background I would choose this one.

Quiet Control
I took a chance and bought this paddle for my husband’s birthday. He bought a cheaper one to play with a club a while back. He’s playing twice a week now so I was hoping to get him one that would really improve his game. HE LOVES IT!!! The polymer core makes for a quiet hit and he has great control.

Inferior quality
I bought this in January to take class to learn pickleball. We played indoors. Soon after I started using it, I noticed the surface had a crack.

and when someone gave me this as a gift I used it trying to overcome my snobbery to great paddles, but I don't think I can
I'm used to pickleball paddles that cost between 85 to 135 dollars, and when someone gave me this as a gift I used it trying to overcome my snobbery to great paddles, but I don't...

Working on that ground stroke
I’m still working on learning the basics and this seems to be a great paddle to grow into. I was using a heavy wooden paddle prior.

I am very pleased with this racquet. Fair price, lightweight with a nice grip. Sits comfortably in my hand.
