Berlitz Language: Turkish Phrase Book & CD (Berlitz Phrase Book & CD)

Not bad but despite what it says in the introduction, the spoken examples are said at normal speed both times. There isn't a slowly -spoken example. Makes it hard to learn sentences.

This must be the best of this type of language book. It is good to have a CD so as to hear the language.

Omg unless you are already fluent in turkish i wouldnt recomend this product...it is very fast

I've always relied on Berlitz to deliver a super good language learning programs and this one is no exception. The lessons are arranged so that the student can move easily to the more difficult phase of the lessons. The photos are top-notched and they help in remembering words. While this course is principally for travelers, day to day conversations start on page 101 of 221 pages. This program is strictly for beginners. And that's the only drawback. There are no materials for reading such as a news article, or short story. Strictly for conversations and to acquaint one to the Turkish sounds.

Very good coverage of language and useful phrases. I need to hear the pronunciation to learn it properly, so the CD was of utmost importance.

I very much like this course. The pocket guide is well written and easy to use. But, Turkish, is one of the easier languages to learn.
