Fuel Injector Puller Remover Seal Installer for Land Rover Jaguar 3.0L 5.0L

Good tool. Used it flawlessly to pull out 8 injectors. My only complaint is that the tool could be longer to clear the strut towers better and the weight heavier to help ease the force necessary to remove then. Definitely will be using this tool more often in the future!!

Here’s my setup and tips: Make absolutely sure you have the tool collar well fitted to the injector as seen in my last pictures and the collar that locks it down all the way down and seated so you about stripping or breaking the injector head, the tool fits very well, recheck after a few blows. If you want to actually get these injectors out you need some more leverage, the slide hammer is simply too lightweight. I added an old bmw wheel bearing under it for more leverage and was able to get more load on them which helped a lot but wasn’t enough for the center positions. What helped the most was using a old brake rotor plus the bearing on the slide hammer, have someone else hold the rod for the slide hammer centered while you hit it and they come out in like 3 hits it’s insane. I was hitting it with the normal setup for hours and no dice. Also soak the holes in your favorite penetrant say aerokroil or whatever. Also if you’re gonna buy the tool, expect the extra bucks to get the injector seal installer with it too, if you need to do your valve cover gaskets in the future, you need to pull injectors and replace the seals on them.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace 3.0 V6. Five injectors came out with no effort. The last one (the one actually throwing the code, of course) was stuck. I hooked this tool to it and with 4-5 slides, it popped right out.

I used this tool to remove son of a b... injectors in a Jaguar XF. I couldn't have done without it. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the little pin and springs on the jaw end come apart easily. Other than that, solid tool.
