Used for multiple bolts on a hot rod fabrication. Used on 3/8 stainless threaded rod to hold in a gas tank. Deburred the ends without a problem and the bolts threaded on without a problem afterwards. Used on grade 8, 5/8 inch U bolts after they were cut down for a rear end. Worked effortlessly on those also. Used on a few other bolts during assembly also, and did not have a problem with the tool working as it should. Just to note, you will need a vise to hold the item while working on it, don't expect to just hold the item by hand and it to work. You need to apply a bit of pressure to it as it cuts. But it will do the job and do it well.
