Nut & Bolt Secret Diversion Safe

This is the real deal when it comes to secret storage. The bolt is a real bolt that appears to have been hollowed out for storage. Once the head of the bolt is screwed on, I do not think anyone would expect that there is something secretly being stored within it; however, the amount of storage room within the bolt is limited. I took off one star because it's not a large storage area at all and the size of the bolt is larger than I had expected which makes it stand out as odd to me; however, if you are only needing a small storage area (for your medications for example), then this should work just fine. I think disguising this bolt within an area that other tools and/or similar items are stored would be best to avoid other's suspicion of the bolt itself and the oddly large size of the bolt. The diameter of the storage area within the bolt is slightly small than my index finger.

Cool. You would never know it was a stash. I BOUGHT SEVERAL ! It’s perfect for hiding things that you can throw in you’r trunk, and no one would ever have a clue what it is. IF ANYONE WOULD EVER ASK ABOUT IT THAT YOU DONT WANT ANYONE TO KNOW ABOUT. JUST SAY I GOT IT FROM WORK FOR MY KIDS TO PLAY WITH. OR TELL THEM THAT ITS A PAPERWEIGHT FOR MY DESK. PROBLEM SOLVED.

its good as a hiding place for very small things-- not the withe of a dollar bill-- you have to bend the edge just alittle-- I did manage to stuff 5 20's in it and put it in the car just for an emergency--- but if you needed to hide some pills from someone its perfect--- or maybe hiding that little stash from the wife.........

Large bolt with nut and washer, however it's not left handed threads on mine, so want some tightness use tools to get a sucured hiding spot

If you have a tool box of sorts, something with some odd and ends screws, nails, nuts, bolts, and the like then this is the perfect stash. Or if you have a shelf with nick nacks on it, some one may even pick it up and fiddle with it and they wouldn't suspect a thing just as long as the contents don't rattle. It's metal, it's sturdy, and it blends in.

Best of diversion safes I have used. I have tried quite a few and the problem is usually that item does not fool people unless it is a very cursory inspection. This nut and bolt have real weight to them and honestly no one would give it a second look if it is in a tool box or junk drawer. Garage works great. Better than books or batteries.

Good product. Works great. Be careful you dont crossthread it. Not an issue as long as you pay attention. If it doesn't screw on easy don't force it, back it off and restart it. Buying a few more various sizes.
