Great Money Saver!
Great bit of kit, well worth the money as it extends the life of my Olfa blades (which as you probably know are not cheap!). Can be a little fiddly on first use, but once you get used to it, and remember to line up the black marks on the outer pieces, it is easy to use. Have been using my current blade on denim and cotton, and with using the sharpening tool, I have had no problems with cutting them!

THESE SHARPENERS ARE GREAT THEY SHARPEN MY ROTARY BLADESVERY WELL AND IT SAVES ME QUITE A BIT OF MONEY HAVING TO BUY NEW ONES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYONE WHO QUILTS

Not universal - check your blades before buying
Not a universal fitting. This will only be of use for blades that have the "cog" shaped hole in the centre and NOT those with a circular centre. I have both sorts, so can use it for the right blades. I have tried it out and it is simple to assemble and easy to operate, even for arthritic hands. You need a coin/screwdriver just to separate the top and bottom parts, but otherwise it is fine. Make sure you read the instructions for 28mm or 45mm blade sharpening - it will do both.

easy and effective
it is easy to use and means I will always have a sharp rotary cutter to hand. The results are impressive and it will save money on blades.

A bit fiddly
A bit fiddly to use. I have trouble fitting the parts together and am in danger of cutting myself. Make sure the two parts are firmly together before using. Hopefully will reduce the need for new blades. I have only used it once for each of my rotary cutters and it seems to work quite well.

awesome blade sharpener.
I love this blade sharpener. its easy to use, no longer will I be throwing away blunt blades again.best buy I have had in a long time. you will not be disappointed.

It does not fit Clover rotary cutters, therefore not universal.
I was unable to use this product as the fitting was not suitable for my rotary cutters. It is described as universal and there is nowhere in the description or details to say this does not fit Clover rotary cutters therefore I made the purchase in good faith and was very disappointed when it arrived as I could not use it.

A bit fiddly
The item received was not Sew Mate brand but Quilted Bear's own brand, however I have tried it and it does sharpen the blades but is a bit fiddly to use despite the magnetic stick. I don't know how long this item will last as the rubber/silicone? comes off the item as you use it - almost like an eraser does.
