For a youth glove they really do make great quality gloves that are not overly expensive. I would recommend this glove to any young player just starting out or depending on hand size a great infield glove to start with. It was somewhat stiff out of the box, but I used leather conditioner and maybe some mallet work on that hinge and it is game ready the same day. I definitely would advise using a leather conditioner first and let that dry for 24 hours before using though as the glove was super dry out of the box and get the laces really good.
