Non-Stick Baking Parchment Paper Roll 45 cm x 75Metres by Bakewell

I've been experimenting with no-knead sourdough bread cooked in a large cast iron casserole pan. Plain baking paper sticks to the loaf, as I know to my cost, but decent quality silicon paper is usually relatively expensive. I was not expecting too much from this baking parchment as it was quite cheap - but, having used it today to bake a loaf, I'm impressed. The bread didn't stick at all. Not only that but the silicon paper looks like it can possibly be reused for something that won't take a lot of cooking time or for something cooked at a lower temperature (might get too brittle if I use it for a loaf again). Considering the amount on the roll, I think this will last me a very long time.One quibble - the slot through which the paper is dispensed needs to be just a little wider as when I pulled the paper through it tore slightly where the edge caught on the side.

The paper is good but by the time I finished using it, the cardboard box was in tatters and the plastic cutter kept falling off.

That probably doesn't matter to most people, but if your current box fits perfectly in your kitchen drawer, this could be an issue. I was able to move the roll from this box to my old box, so it's tight, but fits! As a product, it's great.

I wrap this in my dutch oven when baking bread and it's really good paper. Browns slightly because I bake at 240C but it doesn't smoke or burn. Bread slides off every time.

This item is great for baking but I was disappointed when I looked at the roll as it looked as if it had already been used/opened.

Wow, a bargain, and great quality. I don't think I will ever get to the end of the roll! I love it.
