38" Acoustic Cutaway Guitar

Ordered a Ruison guitar, instead received a Harmonia. Very similar, but I specifically ordered the Ruison based on the advertised head stock inlay, which does not come on the Harmonia. If I wanted a Harmonia, I would have ordered a Harmonia. Due to this bait and switch it is unlikely I would order from this seller again, but it isn't worth the effort of trying to return it.As far as the actual guitar, for this price I did not expect perfect, but it does have issues. There are two chips in the head stock above the nut. The strings cover them for the most part. The stain on the player side of the fret board is inconsistent at best, however that is not noticeable unless playing. The action on the guitar was also extremely high, expected at this price point. However, the biggest issue is that the neck is twisted.I tightened the truss rod, removing some of the twist from the neck but not all. Then I removed the shim from under the saddle and sanded it down a bit, this brought the action back down and made the guitar playable. Threw on some med/light Martin strings to pull a little more of the twist out.The neck still has a slight twist but I now have a playable knock around that sounds pretty good, which at the end of the day is what I was going for. It's a shame, if not for the neck twist and brand switch on the sellers part, this probably would be 5 stars for the price.

This is a great guitar, it is very light and that makes it handy to pick it up any time and play.. I had to smooth the fret ends and replace the strings. The tuners are not the greatest, but it stays in tune.

I will say a couple of things I noticed were that there are no floral headstock designs, that the tuners are made of metal AND plastic. Other than that it plays perfectly and I love it, it was a gift. It's still lovely as can be and it plays like a dream.
