This one is supposed to be 9.5mm thick Serial Ultrabay Slim, and is supposed to fit my T500.> t deng:> there is a big gap between the caddy and the laptop, and it is very difficult to get the caddy out once insertI also get an ugly gap of 1-2 mm above the caddy, so it doesn't feel properly fixed. There is a gap a bit less than 1 mm with the original DVD burner too though. Perhaps it helps keep the disk cool.I didn't notice any more problems getting it out is than with the DVD burner.> Mark> 1: The adapter front does not sit in exactly the same position as the original DVD (in my case) player - it is a couple of millimetres further out.Mine sticks out perhaps half a mm more, not bothersome.> 2: While being listed as compatible with a Lenovo T500, the item lacks the plastic lug at the back of the adapter. As a consequence of this (I think), the item does not eject.There is nothing such on mine either, but I don't think there should be. There is a kind of a side-push-lever on the T500 below the dock, and it triggers another thing that spring out below which helps you pull the dock out.
