easy to install as it was an exact replacement, but someone should offer one that is made of brass. The hose attachment did leak at the swivel point so I just used the old one.

Great value for your money. I replace this for a broken valve control . It works well and does the job to control the water flow. It was an easy installation.

Float Fills With Water Causing Overflow
Poor quality - water gets into the float, the float sinks, and then the unit overflows. I just bought a replacement for one that only lasted about a year. Then the replacement part only lasted about two weeks before leaking. Unfortunately there are no other valves that fit this unit, so I guess I have to return the latest one and get yet another.

Perfect fit for MC61V
The photo in the description showed an adjustable float arm but mine came fixed exactly like the original. I added a brass 90 degree elbow to reduce the strain on the fitting. It's important not not over tighten the nut or the plastic thread will strip. Hand tight then a one quater / 90 drgree turn with a wrench is enough.

Improvement over factory original.
Although different than what was pictured with the hinge float , the non- hinged I got was an improvement over my original one that was shown in the picture. About a 10 minute job.
