What models of iPhone does it work with? iDry has been designed to work with the 3G and 3GS models, and also works well with the iPhone 4 (since the iPhone 4 is slightly smaller than the 3G/3GS models, it will be a little loose in this case but still work fine - alternatively if you only use the iPhone 4, we would recommend purchasing the dedicated iDry for iPhone 4 case)

Great case for basic requirements
I bought this case so that my 4 year old could use my old iPhone 3G as a camera, so I needed something that was strong, waterproof and durable. It does all those thing really well, but is let down by a few niggles. The main problem is the inability to use any of the buttons except the home button. This isn't too much of a problem for us but does mean you have to take it out the case if you want to change volume or turn the phone on/off.The other down side is the clarity of the screen cover. It's made of what seems like a silicone rubber which has a slight opacity. Your finger catches on the rubber if you're swiping and doesn't sit flat against the iPhone screen so creates a bit of distortion. This can be frustrating for my daughter as it becomes a bit difficult to see the photo she's just take.On the whole though, it's fine for our needs but be cautious of its limitations.

Very good
I bought this case for myself and my husband for our recent trip too Thailand. We were planning on going snorkeling and I thought they would be great for taking pictures. In the end I didn't actually use it whilst snorkeling for a couple of reasons. Firstly (I haven't tried this) after reading a number of reviews I found you can't actually take photos underwater. I did however find an app that takes a number of photos on delay, so you could set that to go above the water and then catch a few underwater. I decided that because of this it would be quite an effort to try and take photos with my iphone, and a bit of a pain carrying it around whilst I was swimming. I was also worried in case the case broke and my phone broke with all my holiday snaps on it!I did, however, use it on a number of other occasions -in the swimming pool, when it was raining (and the rain comes down hard in Thailand!), in a Jacuzzi, on the beach, and my husband uses it everyday in the shower. It works great, every time I open the case I am amazed that no water has got inside. It was also great on the beach for protecting it from sand. The silicone (?) screen can get very dirty, but seems to wash off quite easily. Its also quite hard to use when the screen is dry. I would totally recommend this case for day to day use when the phone gets splashed with water, but you will need to be much braver than me to submerge it underwater for any period of time!

Does exactly what it says, albiet a little bulky
I would give this 5 stars except for the size of it. This won't make your iphone 3gs look sexy, but it does the job of keeping it dry so who cares!I tested it by putting paper inside it and leaving in a full sink of water overnight. When i opened it, the paper was bone dry............so its definately safe for your beloved phone............although i would advise a test when you receive it, just in case you get a production line faulty one!The screen cover is soft latex so its possible to use the touchscreen through the case, although its not as smooth as you would like, its in a case, what do you expect! Phone fits nicely in there (with any case you have fitted removed) and there are a few sticky pads you can put inside the case to ensure the phone doesnt slide around (personally i dont use them)For kayaking, beach time......great buy!

Superb.....no problems!
I took a chance on an `iDry' for a trip to the Caribbean recently and it worked a treat. I did the tissue test before using my very expensive lifeline and it worked very well. Used it for videoing while snorkelling and had no problems. The buttons will only work out of the water so you'll need to start videoing before going under. This would then create a problem if you wanted to take a photo while already underwater - the way I got around this is to download a free app from iTunes called 'FXF by JOBY', within the menu of the app you can select 'timelapse' and take continued shots every couple of seconds which is what I did and the results are pretty good. It's then just a matter keeping the good pics and deleting the rest!

Pleased with this.
1. It fits the iPhone 3Gs well.2. The touchpad works fine through the cover. I never experienced any difficulty here.3. It's robust and has a seal that works fine. We did a test and no water got in.4. I needed something tough for kayaking. This case suited my needs. What else can I say? I would advise a test before use. I would also advise that you check seal is undamaged and clean before each use. I guess that's obvious.

Haven't actually tried it out yet
Bought this product as a gift for my niece. She is going on holiday next week and is really looking forward to trying it out. I bought this particular model on the strength of previous reviews, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is completely waterproof and that I don't have to replace her i phone when she gets back! Its larger and more cumbersome than I expected it to be, and on 'first impressions' I would think that some enterprising person will be able to come up with something more aesthetically pleasing!

Exactly what I needed
I was so amazed at this product and how it really ticks all the boxes. I bought two one for an iPhone3 and one for an iPhone 4. OK you have to use the supplied padding for the iphone 4 but once it is set up your phone doesn't move. Used it whilst canoeing, swimming and fishing. It's been wet, very wet, but my phone hasn't. Great service received it before the estimated date and excellent value.
