Fabulous album.
I have virtually everything that Peter Green has released. I love his music and this album is a great cross section of his music. Blues purists will complain that this album contains non "real" blues tracks. That is to ignore the fact that Peter Green has originality and creativity and does not merely emulate the great black players as so many "real" blues musicians do.

DISPENSABLE FOR SERIOUS BLUES COLLECTORS
If you are looking for a collection of tracks representing the golden years of PG's blues career, this is NOT the album for you. Although the album cover claims this is PG and The Original Fleetwood Mac, only 9 of 34 tracks are by this band, so the claim is certainly misleading and possibly fraudulent. Most of those 9 are widely available on other compilations. The bulk of the rest of the tracks are from his less-than-inspired "Second Coming" and are pretty lightweight pieces in the "funk" blues category. The packaging, however, is excellent, despite having one photo back-to-front, making PG seem left-handed in one photo and right-handed in the next. I knew he was a great guitarist - I didn't know he was ambidextrous.
