I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter she loves it!!

It does what it's supposed to, but I wish there was a way to change the pass code on the journal. If there is, it did not come with directions. It's not exactly intuitive how to change it either. On the positive side, it came with a matching blue pen, which was unexpected (but nice at the same time). The title of this diary says it's for both boys and girls. I would definitely say that this is probably more for girls then boys.

I ordered this for my grand-daughter and she loves it. An added plus is that she can set a lock code and not have to keep up with a key.

This is one of the best combination journal! My daughter loved .Recommended!!!!

Bought this as a gift, so I can't really say anything about the inside. I like the outside of it.

My granddaughter will really enjoy this journal/notebook for her constant jottings.

We bought this as a birthday gift for a young lady with literary aspirations. The notebook looks very cute and appears to be of good quality. The hard cover is sturdy, sufficiently protecting the inside. And the, separate, removable notebook is made of fairly thick quality paper. Beware that each page has some day of the week and weather icons on top, that can be checked, and a space for memo no. and the date. If you like to use the notebook for other purposes than a diary this might be an issue.However I wouldn't vouch for the quality of the numerical lock. We've already had a disappointment daughter with similar notebooks that had cheap feeble locks. The lockable feature makes it very attractive for girls but sadly it's also its weakest point.Interestingly, as said the inner notebook can be removed from the cover and replaced once full, if you manage to find a soft cover note book of a similar size. This feature makes this lockable cover more durable.

She adores it! Bought for 6yo with eyes of many brothers and shes very pleased indeed. Not found setting/resetting pin difficult at all.

nice book, good style for a kid.However:- took a month to deliver from China- no instruction for changing the number key, I had to find out on my own
